Psalmen 67

1 Een psalm, een lied, voor den opperzangmeester, op de Neginoth. God zij ons genadig en zegene ons; Hij doe Zijn aanschijn aan ons lichten. (Sela)

For the music director. To be accompanied by stringed instruments. A psalm. A song. May God be gracious to us and bless us. May he look favorably on us. (Selah)

2 Opdat men op de aarde Uw weg kenne, onder alle heidenen Uw heil.

May everyone on earth come to know your ways, your salvation among all people.

3 De volken zullen U, o God! loven; de volken, altemaal, zullen U loven.

May the people praise you, God; may all the people praise you.

4 De natien zullen zich verblijden en juichen, omdat Gij de volken zult richten in rechtmatigheid; en de natien op de aarde die zult Gij leiden. (Sela)

May they be happy and sing for joy because you judge people fairly, and you guide everyone on earth. (Selah)

5 De volken zullen U, o God! loven; de volken, altemaal, zullen U loven.

May the people praise you, God; may all the people praise you.

6 De aarde geeft haar gewas; God, onze God, zal ons zegenen.

The earth has produced its crops; and God, our God, has blessed us.

7 God zal ons zegenen; en alle einden der aarde zullen Hem vrezen.

God will bless us, and all people everywhere will respect him.
