Leviticus 7
1 Dit is nu de wet des schuldoffers; het is een heiligheid der heiligheden.
This is the law of the guilt offering. It is most holy.
2 In de plaats, waar zij het brandoffer slachten, zullen zij het schuldoffer slachten; en men zal deszelfs bloed rondom op het altaar sprengen.
They must kill the guilt offering in the place for killing it, and they must sprinkle its blood against every side of the altar.
3 En daarvan zal men al zijn vet offeren, den staart, en het vet, dat het ingewand bedekt;
All the fat in it will be offered: the fat tail, the fat that is over the inner parts,
4 Ook de beide nieren, en het vet, dat daaraan is, dat op de weekdarmen is; en het net over de lever, met de nieren, zal men afnemen.
the two kidneys and the fat on them, which is next to the loins, and what covers the liver, with the kidneys—all this must be removed.
5 En de priester zal die aansteken op het altaar, ten vuuroffer den HEERE; het is een schuldoffer.
The priest must burn these parts on the altar as an offering made with fire to Yahweh. This is the guilt offering.
6 Al wat mannelijk is onder de priesteren zal dat eten; in de heilige plaats zal het gegeten worden; het is een heiligheid der heiligheden.
Every male among the priests may eat part of this offering. It must be eaten in a holy place because it is most holy.
7 Gelijk het zondoffer, alzo zal ook het schuldoffer zijn; enerlei wet zal voor dezelve zijn; het zal des priesters zijn, die daarmede verzoening gedaan zal hebben.
The sin offering is like the guilt offering. The same law applies to both of them. They belong to the priest who makes atonement with them.
8 Ook de priester, die iemands brandoffer offert, die priester zal de huid des brandoffers hebben, dat hij geofferd heeft.
The priest who offers anyone's burnt offering may have for himself the hide of that offering.
9 Daartoe al het spijsoffer, dat in den oven gebakken wordt, met al wat in den ketel en in den pan bereid wordt, zal des priesters zijn, die dat offert.
Every grain offering that is baked in an oven, and every such offering that is cooked in a frying pan or in a baking pan will belong to the priest who offers it.
10 Ook alle spijsoffer met olie gemengd, of droog, zal voor alle zonen van Aaron zijn, voor den enen als voor den anderen.
Every grain offering, either dry or mixed with oil, will belong equally to all the descendants of Aaron.
11 Dit is nu de wet des dankoffers, dat men den HEERE offeren zal.
This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which people will offer to Yahweh.
12 Indien hij dat tot een lof offer offert, zo zal hij, nevens het lofoffer, ongezuurde koeken met olie gemengd, en ongezuurde vladen met olie bestreken, offeren; en zullen die koeken met olie gemengd van geroost meelbloem zijn.
If anyone offers it in order to give thanks, then he must offer it with a sacrifice of cakes made without yeast, but mixed with oil, of cakes made without yeast, but spread with oil, and of cakes made with fine flour that is mixed with oil.
13 Benevens de koeken zal hij tot zijn offerande gedesemd brood offeren, met het lofoffer zijns dankoffers.
Also for the purpose of giving thanks, he must offer with his peace offering cakes of bread made with yeast.
14 En een daarvan uit de ganse offerande zal hij den HEERE ten hefoffer offeren; het zal voor den priester zijn, die het bloed des dankoffers sprengt.
He is to offer one of each kind of these sacrifices as an offering presented to Yahweh. It will belong to the priests who sprinkle the blood of the peace offerings onto the altar.
15 Maar het vlees van het lofoffer zijns dankoffers zal op den dag van deszelfs offerande gegeten worden; daarvan zal men niet tot den morgen overlaten.
The person presenting a peace offering for the purpose of giving thanks must eat the meat of his offering on the day of the sacrifice. He must not leave any of it until the next morning.
16 En zo het slachtoffer zijner offerande een gelofte, of vrijwillig offer is, dat zal ten dage als hij zijn offer offeren zal, gegeten worden, en het overgeblevene daarvan zal ook des anderen daags gegeten worden.
But if the sacrifice of his offering is for the purpose of a vow, or for the purpose of a freewill offering, the meat must be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, but whatever remains of it may be eaten on the next day.
17 Wat nog van het vlees des slachtoffers overgebleven is, zal op den derden dag met vuur verbrand worden;
However, whatever meat of the sacrifice remains on the third day must be burned.
18 Want zo enigszins van dat vlees zijns dankoffers op den derden dag gegeten wordt, die dat geofferd heeft, zal niet aangenaam zijn; het zal hem niet toegerekend worden, het zal een afgrijselijk ding zijn; en de ziel, die daarvan eet, zal haar ongerechtigheid dragen.
If any of the meat of the sacrifice of one's peace offering is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, neither will it be credited to the one who offered it. It will be a disgusting thing, and the person who eats it will carry the guilt of his sin.
19 En het vlees, dat iets onreins aangeroerd zal hebben, zal niet gegeten worden; met vuur zal het verbrand worden; maar aangaande het andere vlees, dat vlees zal een ieder, die rein is, mogen eten.
Any meat that touches an unclean thing must not be eaten. It must be burned. As for the rest of the meat, anyone who is clean may eat it.
20 Doch als een ziel het vlees van het dankoffer, hetwelk des HEEREN is, gegeten zal hebben, en haar onreinigheid aan haar is, zo zal die ziel uit haar volken uitgeroeid worden.
However, an unclean person who eats any meat from the sacrifice of a peace offering that belongs to Yahweh—that person must be cut off from his people.
21 En wanneer een ziel iets onreins zal aangeroerd hebben, als de onreinigheid des mensen, of het onreine vee, of enig onrein verfoeisel, en zal van het vlees des dankoffers, hetwelk des HEEREN is, gegeten hebben, zo zal die ziel uit haar volken uitgeroeid worden.
If anyone touches any unclean thing—whether uncleanness of man, or of unclean beast, or of some unclean and disgusting thing, and if he then eats some of the meat of a sacrifice of peace offering that belongs to Yahweh, that person must be cut off from his people.'”
22 Daarna sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende:
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
23 Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, zeggende: Geen vet van een os, of schaap, of geit, zult gij eten.
“Speak to the people of Israel and say, 'You must eat no fat of an ox or a sheep or a goat.
24 Maar het vet van een dood aas, en het vet van het verscheurde, mag tot alle werk gebezigd worden; doch gij zult het ganselijk niet eten.
The fat of an animal that died without being a sacrifice, or the fat of an animal torn by wild animals, may be used for other purposes, but you must certainly not eat it.
25 Want al wie het vet van vee eten zal, van hetwelk men den HEERE een vuuroffer zal geofferd hebben, die ziel, die het gegeten zal hebben, zal uit haar volken uitgeroeid worden.
Whoever eats the fat of an animal that men can offer as a sacrifice by fire to Yahweh, that person must be cut off from his people.
26 Ook zult gij in uw woningen geen bloed eten, hetzij van het gevogelte, of van het vee.
You must eat no blood whatsoever in any of your houses, whether it is from a bird or an animal.
27 Alle ziel, die enig bloed eten zal, die ziel zal uit haar volken uitgeroeid worden.
Whoever eats any blood, that person must be cut off from his people.'”
28 Voorts sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende:
So Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
29 Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, zeggende: Wie zijn dankoffer den HEERE offert, zal zijn offerande van zijn dankoffer den HEERE toebrengen.
“Speak to the people of Israel and say, 'He who offers the sacrifice of a peace offering to Yahweh must bring part of his sacrifice to Yahweh.
30 Zijn handen zullen de vuurofferen des HEEREN brengen; het vet aan de borst zal hij met die borst brengen, om die tot een beweegoffer voor het aangezicht des HEEREN te bewegen.
The offering for Yahweh to be made by fire, his own hands must bring it. He must bring the fat with the breast, so that the breast may be waved as a wave offering before Yahweh.
31 En de priester zal dat vet op het altaar aansteken; doch de borst zal voor Aaron en zijn zonen zijn.
The priest must burn the fat on the altar, but the breast will belong to Aaron and his descendants.
32 Gij zult ook den rechterschouder tot een hefoffer den priester geven, uit uw dankofferen.
You must give the right thigh to the priest as an offering presented out of the sacrifice of your peace offerings.
33 Wie uit de zonen van Aaron het bloed des dankoffers en het vet offert, dien zal de rechterschouder ten dele zijn.
The priest, one of Aaron's descendants, who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat—he will have the right thigh as his share of the offering.
34 Want de beweegborst en den hefschouder heb Ik van de kinderen Israels uit hun dankofferen genomen, en heb dezelve aan Aaron, den priester, en aan zijn zonen, tot een eeuwige inzetting gegeven, van de kinderen Israels.
For I have taken from the people of Israel, the breast of the wave offering, and the thigh that is the contribution, and they have been given to Aaron the priest and his sons as their regular share.
35 Dit is de zalving van Aaron en de zalving van zijn zonen, van de vuurofferen des HEEREN; ten dage als Hij hen deed naderen, om het priesterdom den HEERE te bedienen;
This is the share for Aaron and his descendants from the offerings for Yahweh made by fire, on the day when Moses presented them to serve Yahweh in the work of priest.
36 Hetwelk de HEERE hun van de kinderen Israels te geven geboden heeft, ten dage als Hij hen zalfde; het zij een eeuwige inzetting voor hun geslachten.
This is the share that Yahweh commanded to be given them from the people of Israel, on the day that he anointed the priests. It will always be their share throughout all generations.
37 Dit is de wet des brandoffers, des spijsoffers, des zondoffers, des schuldoffers, des vuloffers en des dankoffers;
This is the law of the burnt offering, of the grain offering, of the sin offering, of the guilt offering, of the consecration offering, and of the sacrifice of peace offerings,
38 Die de HEERE Mozes op den berg Sinai geboden heeft, ten dage als Hij den kinderen Israels gebood, dat zij hun offeranden den HEERE, in de woestijn van Sinai, zouden offeren.
about which Yahweh gave commands to Moses on Mount Sinai on the day that he commanded the people of Israel to offer their sacrifices to Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai.'”
