Hosea 6
1 Komt en laat ons wederkeren tot den HEERE, want Hij heeft verscheurd, en Hij zal ons genezen; Hij heeft geslagen, en Hij zal ons verbinden.
Come so let us return to Yahweh for he he has torn to pieces and he will heal us he has struck and he will bind up us.
2 Hij zal ons na twee dagen levend maken; op den derden dag zal Hij ons doen verrijzen, en wij zullen voor Zijn aangezicht leven.
He will restore to life us from two days on the day third he will raise up us and we may live before him.
3 Dan zullen wij kennen, wij zullen vervolgen, om den HEERE te kennen; Zijn uitgang is bereid als de dageraad; en Hij zal tot ons komen als een regen, als de spade regen en vroege regen des lands.
And let us know let us pursue to know Yahweh like [the] dawn [is] steadfast going forth his so he may come like the rain to us like [the] spring rain [which] it waters [the] land.
4 Wat zal Ik u doen, o Efraim! wat zal Ik u doen, o Juda! dewijl uw weldadigheid is als een morgenwolk, en als een vroegkomende dauw, die henengaat.
What? will I do to you O Ephraim what? will I do to you O Judah and loyalty your [is] like a cloud of [the] morning and like dew rising early going.
5 Daarom heb Ik hen behouwen door de profeten; Ik heb ze gedood door de redenen Mijns monds; en uw oordelen zullen voortkomen aan het licht.
There-fore I will cut [them] in pieces by the prophets I will kill them by [the] words of mouth my and judgments your [is] light [which] it goes forth.
6 Want Ik heb lust tot weldadigheid, en niet tot offer; en tot de kennis Gods, meer dan tot brandofferen.
For covenant loyalty I desire and not sacrifice and [the] knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7 Maar zij hebben het verbond overtreden als Adam; daar hebben zij trouwelooslijk tegen Mij gehandeld.
And they like Adam they have transgressed [the] covenant there they dealt treacherously with me.
8 Gilead is een stad van werkers der ongerechtigheid; zij is betreden van bloed.
Gilead [is] a town of doers of wickedness tracked from blood.
9 Gelijk de benden der straatschenders op iemand wachten, alzo is het gezelschap der priesteren; zij moorden op den weg naar Sichem, waarlijk, zij doen schandelijke daden.
And as wait for a person marauding bands an association of priests [the] way they murder Shechem towards for wickedness they have done.
10 Ik zie een afschuwelijke zaak in het huis Israels; aldaar is Efraims hoererij, Israel is verontreinigd.
In [the] house of Israel I have seen (a horrible [thing] *Q(k)*) [is] there prostitution [belongs] to Ephraim it has made itself unclean Israel.
11 Ook heeft hij u, o Juda! een oogst gezet, als Ik de gevangenen Mijns volks wederbracht.
Also O Judah he has appointed a harvest for you when turn back I [the] captivity of people my.
