Zacharia 11
1 Libanon, open uw poorten, Opdat het vuur uw ceders verteert;
Open O Lebanon doors your so it may consume fire cedars your.
2 Jammer, cypres, want de ceder is gevallen, De machtigen liggen geveld; Huilt, gij eiken van Basjan, Want het ondoordringbare woud ligt tegen de grond!
Wail O cypress for it has fallen a cedar that majestic [trees] they have been devastated wail O oaks of Bashan for it has come down [the] forest (of the vintage. *Q(K)*)
3 Hoor, het klagen der herders, Want hun lustoord is vernield; Hoor, het brullen der leeuwen, Want de pracht van de Jordaan ligt verwoest!
[the] sound of [the] wailing of The shepherds for it has been devastated splendor their [the] sound of [the] roaring of young lions for it has been devastated [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan.
4 Zo spreekt Jahweh, mijn God! Weid de schapen, ter slachting bestemd;
Thus he says Yahweh God my shepherd [the] flock of slaughter.
5 die de kopers straffeloos doden; waarvan de verkopers zeggen: Geprezen zij Jahweh, ik ben er rijk mee geworden; waarmee de herders geen medelijden hebben.
Which [those who] buy them they will kill them and not they will be held guilty and [those who] sell them he will say [be] blessed Yahweh so I may gain riches and shepherds their not he will have compassion on them.
6 Want Ik zal de bewoners van het land niet meer sparen, is de godsspraak van Jahweh; neen, Ik lever al die lieden aan hun herder over, en aan hun verkoper; die zullen het land verdrukken, en Ik zal ze niet uit hun greep verlossen.
For not I will have compassion again on [the] inhabitants of the land [the] utterance of Yahweh and here! I [am] about to deliver everyone each in [the] hand of neighbor his and in [the] hand of king his and they will crush the land and not I will deliver [it] from hand their.
7 Zo werd ik de herder der kudde, ter slachting bestemd, voor de schapenkopers. Ik koos mij twee herdersstokken uit; de ene noemde ik: "Goedheid", de andere: "Band". Toen begon ik de kudde te weiden.
And I shepherded [the] flock of slaughter therefore [the] afflicted [ones] of the flock and I took for myself two staffs one I called Favor and one I called Union and I shepherded the flock.
8 In één maand liet ik de drie herders verdwijnen. Toen werd ik ook met de schapen ongeduldig, en zij kregen afkeer van mij.
And I annihilated [the] three the shepherds in a month one and it was short self my with them and also self their it loathed me.
9 En ik sprak: Ik weid u niet meer; laat sterven wat dood moet, verdwijnen wat weg moet, en de rest kan elkander verslinden!
And I said not I will shepherd you the [one which] dies let it die and the [one which] is being destroyed let it be destroyed and those [which] survive let them devour each [the] flesh of [female] neighbor its.
10 Ik nam dus mijn stok "Goedheid", en brak hem aan stukken, om het verbond te verbreken, dat ik met heel het volk had gesloten.
And I took staff my Favor and I cut up it to break covenant my which I had made with all the peoples.
11 Op diezelfde dag werd het verbroken; en de schapenkopers, die acht op mij sloegen, begrepen, dat het een woord van Jahweh was.
And it was broken on the day that and they knew thus [the] afflicted [ones] of the flock who were watching me that [was] [the] word of Yahweh it.
12 Ik zeide hun: Zo het u goeddunkt, geef me mijn loon; zo niet, dan kunt ge het laten. Zij gaven mij dertig zilverlingen als loon.
And I said to them if it is good in view your give wage[s] my and if not - refrain and they weighed out wage[s] my thirty silver.
13 Maar Jahweh zeide tot mij: Werp het weg voor den pottenbakker; een mooie prijs, waarop gij door hen wordt geschat! Ik nam dus de dertig zilverlingen, en wierp ze in het huis van Jahweh voor den pottenbakker.
And he said Yahweh to me throw it to the potter [the] magnificence of the value which I was valued from with them and I took! thirty the silver and I threw it [the] house of Yahweh to the potter.
14 Vervolgens brak ik mijn tweede stok "Band" in stukken: om de broederschap tussen Juda en Israël te verbreken.
And I cut up staff my second Union to break the brotherhood between Judah and between Israel.
15 Nu sprak Jahweh tot mij: Rust u nu uit als een dwaze herder!
And he said Yahweh to me again take for yourself [the] equipment of a shepherd foolish.
16 Want zie, Ik ga over het land een herder stellen, die niet omziet naar wat verdwijnt, het ver-verstrooide niet opzoekt, het gewonde niet heelt, het gezonde niet voedt, maar het vlees verslindt van de vetten, en hun de poten breekt.
For here! I [am] about to raise up a shepherd in the land those [which] are being destroyed not he will visit the young man not he will seek and the [one which] is maimed not he will heal the [one which] stands firm not he will sustain and [the] flesh of the fat [sheep] he will eat and hooves their he will tear off.
17 Maar wee dien dwazen herder van Mij, die de schapen verlaat! Het zwaard zal zijn arm en rechteroog treffen; zijn arm zal verdorren, zijn rechteroog wordt helemaal blind.
Woe to! shepherd of my worthlessness [who] abandons the flock a sword [will be] on arm his and on [the] eye of right [side] his arm his totally it will wither and [the] eye of right [side] his certainly it will grow dim.
