Psalmen 67

1 Voor muziekbegeleiding; met harpen. Een psalm; een lied. God zij ons genadig, en zegene ons, En doe zijn aanschijn over ons lichten;

To the Chief Musician. With stringed Instruments. A Melody, a Song. God, be favorable to us and bless us, Cause his face to shine upon us. (Selah)

2 Opdat men op aarde zijn wegen erkenne, Onder alle volken zijn heil.

That thy way may be known throughout the earth, Throughout all nations, thy saving help!

3 De volkeren moeten U prijzen, o God; Alle naties moeten U loven!

Peoples will praise thee, O God, Peoples will, all of them, praise thee,

4 De volkeren zullen juichen en jubelen, Omdat Gij de wereld rechtvaardig regeert, Met gerechtigheid de volkeren richt, En de naties op aarde bestuurt.

Races of men, will be glad and shout for joy, Because thou wilt judge peoples with equity, And, races of men throughout the earth, thou wilt lead. (Selah)

5 De volkeren moeten U prijzen, o God; Alle naties moeten U loven!

Peoples will praise thee, O God, —Peoples will, all of them, praise thee.

6 De aarde heeft haar oogst gegeven, De Heer, onze God, ons gezegend;

Earth, will have given her increase, God, our own God, will bless us:

7 Moge God ons blijven zegenen, En alle grenzen der aarde Hem vrezen. De volkeren moeten U prijzen, o God; Alle naties moeten U loven!

God, will bless us, That all the ends of the earth, may revere him.
