1 Halleluja! Looft Jahweh in zijn heiligdom, Looft Hem in het firmament zijner glorie;

Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his heavens for his acts of power!

2 Looft Hem om zijn machtige daden, Looft Hem om zijn ontzaglijke grootheid!

Praise him for his mighty acts! Praise him according to his excellent greatness!

3 Looft Hem met bazuingeschal, Looft Hem met harp en citer;

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet! Praise him with harp and lyre!

4 Looft Hem met pauken en koren, Looft Hem op snaren en fluit!

Praise him with tambourine and dancing! Praise him with stringed instruments and flute!

5 Looft Hem met schelle cimbalen, Looft Hem met kletterende bekkens!

Praise him with loud cymbals! Praise him with resounding cymbals!

6 Looft Jahweh, alles wat ademt! Halleluja!

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
