Job 12
1 Job antwoordde, en sprak:
And he answered Job and he said.
2 Ja zeker, gij vertegenwoordigt het volk, En met u sterft de wijsheid uit!
Truly that you [are the] people and with you it will die wisdom.
3 Ik heb evenveel verstand als gij Wie zou trouwens dit alles niet weten?
Also [belongs] to me a heart - like you not [am] falling I more than you and with whom? [are] there not like these [things].
4 Laat mij de spot zijn van mijn vriend; Ik roep Jahweh aan, Hij zal mij verhoren! Bespotting voor de deugd van de vromen,
A laughingstock to friend his - I am [one who] called to God and he answered him [is] a laughingstock a righteous [person] a blameless [person].
5 Verachting voor de beproefden: denkt het gelukskind, En een trap voor hen, wier voeten wankelen;
[belongs] to Disaster contempt to [the] thought of [one] at ease a push [belongs] to [those who] are sliding of foot.
6 Maar vrede voor de tenten der rovers, Onbezorgdheid voor hen, die God durven tarten, En die God naar hun hand willen zetten!
They are at peace [the] tents - of destroyers and securiti [belong] to provokers of God to [those] whom he has brought God in hand his.
7 Ondervraag slechts het vee: het zal het u leren; De vogels uit de lucht; zij vertellen het u;
And but ask please [the] animals so it may teach you and [the] bird[s] of the heavens so it may tell to you.
8 Of het kruipend gedierte op aarde: zij zullen het zeggen; De vissen der zee: zij lichten u in.
Or complain to the earth so it may teach you and they may recount to you [the] fish of the sea.
9 Wie onder die allen, die het niet weet, Dat de hand van Jahweh dit wrocht!
Who? not does it know among all these for [the] hand of Yahweh it has done this.
10 Hij, die iedere levende ziel in zijn hand heeft, En de adem van alle menselijk vlees!
[he] whom [is] in Hand his [the] life of every living [thing] and [the] breath of all flesh of humankind.
11 Of kan het oor geen woorden meer toetsen, Het gehemelte geen spijzen meer proeven;
¿ Not an ear words does it test and a palate food it tastes itself.
12 Is er geen wijsheid meer bij bejaarden, Op hoge leeftijd geen inzicht?
[is] with Aged [people] wisdom and [is with] length of days understanding.
13 Bij Hem is wijsheid en macht, Bij Hem beleid en verstand.
[are] with Him wisdom and might [belong] to him counsel and understanding.
14 Haalt Hij omver, men bouwt niet op, Dien Hij kerkert, doet men niet open.
There! he tears down and not it will be rebuilt he shuts on a person and not it will be opened.
15 Houdt Hij de wateren tegen, ze drogen op; Laat Hij ze los, ze woelen het land om.
There! he holds back the waters so they may be dry and he lets loose them and they may devastate [the] earth.
16 Bij Hem is kracht en vernuft, Hem behoort de verleide met den verleider;
[are] with Him strength and sound wisdom [belong] to him [one who] goes astray and [one who] leads astray.
17 Raadsheren laat Hij barrevoets gaan, En rechters maakt Hij tot dwazen;
[he is] leading away Counselors barefoot and judges he makes look foolish.
18 De boeien der koningen maakt Hij los, En legt een koord om hun eigen heup.
[the] correction of Kings he loosens and he bound a loincloth on loins their.
19 De priesters laat Hij barrevoets gaan, En oude geslachten brengt Hij ten val;
[he is] leading away Priests barefoot and [people] long established he overturns.
20 Aan vertrouwbare mannen ontneemt Hij de spraak, En ontrooft de grijsaards hun oordeel;
[he is] removing A lip of trusted [ones] and [the] discernment of elders he takes away.
21 Hij stort verachting over edelen uit, En rukt de gordel der machtigen los.
[he is] pouring Contempt on noble [people] and [the] belt of strong people he loosens.
[he is] revealing Unfathomable [things] from darkness and he brought out to the light deep darkness.
23 Hij maakt naties groot, en richt ze ten gronde, Breidt volken uit, en stoot ze neer;
[he is] making great the Nations and he destroyed them [he is] spreading out the nations and he led them.
24 Hij berooft de vorsten der aarde van hun verstand, En laat ze in de ongebaande wildernis dolen;
[he is] removing [the] heart of [the] leaders of [the] people of The earth and he made wander them in a wasteland not a path.
25 Ze tasten in de duisternis rond, zonder licht, Ze waggelen als een dronken man.
They grope darkness and not light and he made wander them like drunkard.
