Ezechiël 28
1 Het woord van Jahweh werd tot mij gericht.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 Mensenkind, ge moet tot den vorst van Tyrus zeggen: Zo spreekt Jahweh, de Heer! Uw hart was hoogmoedig; Ge hebt gemeend: Ik ben een god! Een godenwoning bezit ik Midden in zee! En hoewel ge maar een mens zijt, geen god, Verbeeldt ge u, god te zijn:
O son of humankind say to [the] ruler of Tyre thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh because it has been haughty heart your and you have said [am] a god I [the] seat of gods I sit in [the] heart of [the] seas and you [are] a human being and not a god and you have made heart your like [the] heart of a god.
3 Wijzer dan Daniël te wezen, Zodat geen geheim u verborgen blijft.

4 Door uw wijsheid en doorzicht Hebt ge u vermogen verworven, En goud en zilver opgehoopt In uw schatkamers.
By wisdom your and by understanding your you have acquired for yourself wealth and you have acquired gold and silver in treasuries your.
5 Omdat ge zoveel verstand hadt van handel, Hebt ge uw vermogen vermeerderd, En zijt ge hoogmoedig geworden Op uw rijkdom.
By [the] greatness of skill your by trading your you have increased wealth your and it has been haughty heart your in wealth your.
6 Daarom spreekt Jahweh, de Heer: Omdat ge u inbeeldt, Een god te zijn:
Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh because making you heart your like [the] heart of a god.
7 Daarom laat Ik vreemden op u los, De meest-barbaarse volken. Die trekken hun zwaarden tegen uw heerlijke wijsheid, En zullen uw luister besmeuren;
Therefore here I [am] about to bring on you strangers ruthless [ones] of nations and they will draw swords their on [the] beauty of wisdom your and they will profane splendor your.
8 In de groeve werpen ze u neer, In volle zee zult ge worden verslagen en sterven. Zult ge dan nog roepen: Ik ben god!
To the pit they will bring down you and you will die [the] death of [the] slain in [the] heart of [the] seas.
9 Wanneer ge voor uw beulen staat; Terwijl ge maar een mens blijkt te zijn, geen god, In de handen van uw moordenaars?
¿ Really will you say [am] a god I before killer your and you [are] a human being and not a god in [the] hand of [those who] pierce you.
10 De dood der onbesnedenen zult ge sterven Door de handen van vreemden! Waarachtig, Ik heb het gezegd, Is de godsspraak van Jahweh!
[the] deaths of Uncircumcised [men] you will die by [the] hand of strangers for I I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
11 Het woord van Jahweh werd tot mij gericht.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
12 Mensenkind, ge moet over den koning van Tyrus een klaaglied aanheffen, en hem zeggen: Zo spreekt Jahweh, de Heer! Gij waart de keur der schepping, Van wijsheid vervuld, van volmaakte schoonheid.
O son of humankind take up a lamentation on [the] king of Tyre and you will say to him thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh you [were one who] seals an example full of wisdom and perfect of beauty.
13 Gij bevondt u in Eden, de godentuin; Uw gewaad was met allerlei kostbare stenen bezet. Robijn, topaas, jaspis, chrysoliet, Onyx, jaspis, saffier, karbonkel, In goud gevat en gekast, Werden u opgezet op de dag uwer schepping.
In Eden [the] garden of God you were [was] every stone precious covering your ruby topaz and emerald chrysolite onyx and jasper sapphire turquoise and beryl and gold [the] workmanship of tambourines your and settings your on you on [the] day are created you they were prepared.
14 Een cherub met uitgespreide vleugels Had Ik u tot schutse gegeven; Ge waart op de heilige godenberg, En wandelde tussen vurige stenen.
You [were] a cherub of expansion [one which] covers and I appointed you on [the] mountain of [the] holiness of God you were in [the] middle of stones of fire you walked about.
15 Ge waart onberispelijk sinds de dag uwer schepping, Totdat ge op onrecht werdt betrapt,
[were] blameless You in ways your from [the] day are created you until it was found unrighteousness in you.
16 En door uw uitgebreide handel U aan onrechtvaardige winst hebt bezondigd. Daarom heb Ik u onteerd, Verdreef Ik u van de heilige godenberg; En heeft de beschermende cherub u verjaagd, Uit het midden der vurige stenen.
In [the] abundance of trading your people filled [the] middle of you violence and you sinned and I profaned you from [the] mountain of God and I destroyed you O cherub [one which] covers from [the] middle of [the] stones of fire.
17 Uw hart ging groot op uw pracht, En uw wijsheid hebt ge vergooid om uw luister; Daarom heb Ik u ter aarde geworpen, U voor het gezicht van koningen te kijk gesteld.
It was haughty heart your in beauty your you perverted wisdom your on splendor your on [the] ground I threw you before kings I put you to look on you.
18 Door uw grote schuld en slechte praktijken Hebt ge uw heiligdommen ontwijd; Daarom riep Ik een vuur uit u op, dat u verteerde, Legde Ik u in as op de aarde, voor de ogen van al die u zagen.
From [the] greatness of iniquities your by [the] unrighteousness of trading your you profaned sanctuaries your and I brought out fire from [the] midst of you it it consumed you and I made you into ash[es] on the ground to [the] eyes of all [those who] saw you.
19 En allen, die u kenden onder de volken, Staan stom van ontzetting om u; Een spookbeeld zijt ge geworden, Verdwenen voor eeuwig!
All [those who] knew you among the peoples they were appalled on you terrors you became and there not [will be] you until perpetuity.
20 Het woord van Jahweh werd tot mij gericht.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
21 Mensenkind, ge moet uw gelaat richten naar Sidon; profeteer tegen haar
O son of humankind set face your to Sidon and prophesy on it.
22 en zeg: Zo spreekt Jahweh, de Heer! Sidon, Ik kom op u af, en zal Mij in uw midden verheerlijken, opdat men erkenne, dat Ik Jahweh ben, als Ik in haar gerichten voltrek, aan haar mijn heiligheid bewijs.
And you will say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] on you O Sidon and I will gain glory in [the] midst of you and people will know that I [am] Yahweh when bring about I on it judgments and I will show myself holy in it.
23 Pest stuur Ik op haar af, en bloed op haar straten. Binnen haar midden zullen verslagenen vallen, als het zwaard aan alle kanten tegen haar woedt. Zo zullen ze erkennen, dat Ik Jahweh ben!
And I will send on it a pestilence and blood in streets its and it will fall [the] slain in [the] midst of it by [the] sword on it from round about and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.
24 Dan zal er voor het huis van Israël geen pijnlijke prikkel en geen smartelijke doorn meer zijn van de kant van alle omliggende volken, die het verachten. Zo zullen ze erkennen, dat Ik Jahweh ben!
And not it will belong again to [the] house of Israel a brier [which] pricks and a thorn [which] causes pain from all around them who despise them and they will know that I [am the] Lord Yahweh.
25 Dit zegt Jahweh, de Heer: Als Ik het huis van Israël uit de volken, waaronder ze verstrooid zijn, bijeen heb gebracht, dan zal Ik door hen mijn heiligheid bewijzen ten aanschouwen van de volken, en zullen zij zich vestigen op hun eigen grond, die Ik aan mijn dienaar Jakob gegeven heb.
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh when gather I - [the] house of Israel from the peoples which they have been scattered among them and I will show myself holy among them to [the] eyes of the nations and they will dwell on own land their which I gave to servant my to Jacob.
26 Daar zullen ze veilig wonen en huizen bouwen, wijngaarden planten en zich veilig voelen, als Ik de strafgerichten heb voltrokken aan al hun buren, die hen veracht hebben. Zo zullen zij erkennen, dat Ik, Jahweh, hun Heer ben!
And they will dwell on it to security and they will build houses and they will plant vineyards and they will dwell to security when bring about I judgments on all those [who] despise them from around them and they will know that I [am] Yahweh God their.
