1 Benjamin verwekte Béla, zijn eerstgeborene, Asj-bel als tweede, Achrach als derde.
Now Benjamin conceived Bela as his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

31 Gedor, Achjo, Zéker en Miklot.

32 Miklot verwekte Sjima; ook dezen woonden bij hun stamgenoten in Jerusalem, in hun nabijheid.
And Mikloth conceived Shimeah. And they lived opposite their brothers in Jerusalem, with their brothers.
33 Ner verwekte Kisj; Kisj verwekte Saul; Saul verwekte Jonatan, Malkisjóea, Abinadab en Esjbáal.
Now Ner conceived Kish, and Kish conceived Saul. Then Saul conceived Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 De zoon van Jonatan was Merib-Báal; Merib-Báal verwekte Mika.
And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal conceived Micah.
35 De zonen van Mika waren: Piton, Mélek, Taréa en Achaz.
The sons of Micah were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Achaz verwekte Jehoadda; Jehoadda verwekte Alémet, Azmáwet en Zimri; Zimri verwekte Mosa;
And Ahaz conceived Jehoaddah. And Jehoaddah conceived Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri. And Zimri conceived Moza.
37 Mosa verwekte Bina. Diens zoon was Rafa; die van Rafa was Elasa; die van Elasa was Asel.
And Moza conceived Binea, whose son was Raphah, of whom was born Eleasah, who conceived Azel.

Now there were six sons for Azel, whose names were Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 De zonen van zijn broer Ésjek waren Oelam de oudste, Jeöesj de tweede en Elifélet de derde.
Then the sons of Eshek, his brother, were Ulam the firstborn, and Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

And the sons of Ulam were very robust men, drawing the bow with great strength. And they had many sons and grandsons, even to one hundred fifty. All these were sons of Benjamin.
