1 Mubayeezye kuti balibombye kubendelezi akulibasimulawu, kamubaswlizya, akulibambila kuli yonse milimu mibotu
And admonish them to be submissive and obedient to princes and potentates; and that they be ready for every good work;
2 Mubayezye kutawambula bubi awumwi, kutaba achiyandisyo chakulwana, alimwi abusichamba, akutondezya kuliwinsya kubantu bonse.
and that they speak ill of no man; that they be not contentious, but mild; and that in every thing they manifest benignity towards all men.
3 Nkambo limwi lyamazuba iswe lwesu twakali abaya batayeeyi akutaswilizya. Twakazulwidwa mukusweka alimwi akuba mubuzike kwinda aziyandisyo zisiyene siyene alimwi azibotezya. Twakali kupona mububi amumabbivwe. Twakali chisesemyo alimwi katutayandani abamwi.
For we also were formerly reckless, and disobedient, and erring, and serving divers lusts, and living in malice and envy, and were hateful and also hating one another.
4 Pesi eelyo buuya bwa Leza Mufutuli wesu antomwe aluyando lwakwe lwakumisyobo yoonse yakayubunuka,
But when the kindness and compassion of God our Life-giver was revealed,
5 Tensi kwakali kwamilimo yabusalali obo mbutwakachita swebo, pesi mukwinda muluse lwakwe elyo wakatufutula, kwindila mukusanzigwa a Muuya Uusalala.
not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his mercy, he vivified us, by the washing of the new birth, and by the renovation of the Holy Spirit,
6 Leza wakafonkola watila Muuya Uusalala alindiswe mukwinda mumufutuli wesu Jesu Kkilisito.
which he shed on us abundantly, by Jesus the Messiah our Life-giver:
7 Ezi wakazichita kuti tululamikwe kuluzyalo, tuzobe basikukona katulabulangizi bwabuumi ibutamani. (aiōnios g166)
that we might be justified by his grace, and become heirs in the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Oyu mulumbe ulasyomeka. Ndiyanda kuti mwambule chabusichaamba atala azintu ezi, kuchitila kuti abo bakasyoma muli Leza bajatisye mumilimo mibotu. Makani mabotu, alalugwasyo kubantu boonse.
Faithful is the word: and in these things, I would have thee also establish them; so that they, who have believed in God, may be careful to cultivate good works: these are the things, which are good, and profitable to men.
9 Pesi amuleke kukazyania kwabufubafuba alimwi amazyalani amikowa amapenzi akutamvwanana atala amulawo. Ezyo zintu tazikwe mpindu alimwi tazigwasyi.
But foolish questions, and stories of genealogies, and the disputes and contests of the scribes, avoid: for there is no profit in them, and they are vain.
10 Mumukake nabaani uyetelezya kwanzaana akati kanu, nimwamana kumuchenjezya lumwi na tubili,
An heretical man, after thou hast instructed him once and again, avoid:
11 mbuli mbomuzi kuti muntu uliboobo wakasanduka kuzwa munzila iluleme alimwi ulokubisya ulikulipa mulandu lwakwe.
and know thou, that such a man is perverse, and sinful, and self-condemned.
12 Elwo nindatuma Atemasi naba Tuchikkasi kulindinywe, ufwambane alimwi usike kulindime ku Nikkopolisi, oko nkundakayeeya kulomaninsya chindi champeeyo nkendinkuko.
When I shall send Artemas to thee, or Tychicus, strive thou to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have purposed to winter there.
13 Ufwambane utume Zenasi, unikide kumilawu, antomwe a Apolosi, enzila yakuti batakabuli chintu.
As for Zenas the scribe, and Apollos, endeavor to help them well on their way, that they may want nothing.
14 Bantu besungabayiiye kulinjizya lwabo beni kumilimu mibotu eyo ipa ziyandisi akufwambana alimwi kuti batabi bantu batazyali michelo.
And let our people learn also to perform good works, on occasions of emergency, that they may not be unfruitful.
15 Boonse abo balandime balikumujuzya. Mubajuzye bonse abo batuyanda mulusyomo. Luzyalo alube anywebo moonse.
All they that are with me salute thee. Salute all them who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
