Pita Mutaanzi 5
1 Ndikwambila bapati balakati kanu, nkambo ambebo, ndemwini ndimupati, alubo ndikamboni wamapenzi aa-Kkilisito, alubo ndime umwi wabatakabane mubulemu obo buchizoyubununwa.
I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed:
2 Amube basikwembela butanga bambelele zya-Leza obo mbomulo kubbasopa, kamulo kubbasopa mbuli balangi babo pepe anukuti nkambo mbumwelede, pesi akambo kakuba achiyandisyo, mbuli Leza mbwatanoli wayanda kuti mumubelekele - pepe kwempindu iwusyansoni pesi chakulipeda.
Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, as God wants; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;
3 Mutabeleki mbuli baami atala bantu abo mbimubbasopa. Anukuti, amube chitondezyo kubutanga.
neither as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
4 Kwakuti awo Mwembezi Simutwe akuyubununwa, inywebo mukalitambwide munsini wabulemu utakulumpali.
When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
5 Munzila ikozyania, anywebo nobalumi bachikula, amukalibombye kubalumi bakakomena. Nywebo moonseni, amukalizwatiike myoyo miteete kamunogwasyania umwi awumwi. Nkambo Leza ulabakazya basikulisumpula, pesi abo balamyoyo mitete ulabapa luzyalo.
Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, towards one another; for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
6 Nkinkako amulibombye munsi lyejanza pati lya-Leza nkokuti akamusumpule kuchiindi chelelede.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;
7 Amwasowele kulinguwe woonseni makatazyo anu nkambo ngumuchebuka lyoonse.
casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
8 Amukalibombye, amukuchenjela, nkambo sinkondo nyokwe saatani ulendeenda mbuli mulavu uvuuluma, kayandula ngwatalume.
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Amukamulwane, amuyume mulusyomo lwanu. Nkambo mulizizi kuti mapenzi akozyania ayaya ayosika kulibabunyina benu kumanyika woonse.
Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
10 Musule akuyochiswa kwachindi chinini, Leza siluzyalo loonseni, oyo wakamwiita mubulemu bwakwe ibutamani muli Kkilisito, uyomusalazya, akumusimpa, akumusimya, akuyomuzikitizya. (aiōnios g166)
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (aiōnios g166)

14 Amujuzyanie alumyontano lwaluyando. Iluzyalo alube kulindinywe moonseni nimuli muli-Kkilisito.
