1 Nyaka ipuonj weche mowinjore gi puonj ma adiera.
BUT speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 Puonj jodongo mondo obed joma obidhore, ma ok ohero oyuma, kendo moritore, bende man-gi yie mar adier gihera kod kinda.
that the elder men be sober, grave, discreet, sound in faith, in love, in patience.
3 Kamano bende puonj mon madongo mondo kit ngimagi obed ranyisi maber, ma ok jokuoth, kata joma ohero madho kongʼo, to nyaka gibed gi puonj mabeyo.
That the elder women also be sacredly becoming in their behaviour, not slanderers, not enslaved by much wine, teachers of propriety;
4 Ka gitimo kamano, to ginyalo puonjo mon matindo kaka onego giher chwogi gi nyithindgi;
that they instruct the young women to be discreet, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 ka giterore mos kendo gidak e ngima maler bende ka girito e utegi. Nyaka gibed mon mangʼwon kendo moluoro chwogi mondo kik ngʼato angʼata yany wach Nyasaye.
to be sober, domestic, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not ill reported of.
6 Kamano bende onego ijiw yawuowi matindo mondo oritre.
The younger men in like manner exhort to be sober minded.
7 Bednegi ranyisi e yore duto kitimo gik mabeyo. Kipuonjo to nyis ni in ngʼama ngimane oriere tir kendo ma ok dwar oyuma,
In all things approving thyself as a pattern of good works: in thy teaching, shewing integrity, gravity, incorruptibility,

sound discourse, incapable of confutation; that he who is in opposition may be confounded, having nothing faulty to say of you.

Let servants be subject to their own masters, in all things to be agreeable to them; not contradicting;
10 kata kik gikwal gigegi, to ginyisre ni gin joma inyalo geno e weche duto mondo omi e yore duto gimi puonj mar Nyasaye Jawarwa oywa ji.
not embezzling their property, but demonstrating all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Nikech ngʼwono mar Nyasaye makelo warruok osefwenyore ne ji duto.
For the grace of God which leads to salvation hath appeared unto all men,
12 Ngʼwonono puonjowa mondo wakwed timbe maricho kod gombo mochido mag piny, kendo mondo wabed kawaritore e ngima makare mamiyo Nyasaye duongʼ e kindeni, (aiōn g165)
instructing us, that denying ungodliness and worldly affections, we should live soberly and righteously, and godly in the present day; (aiōn g165)
13 kapod warito geno mogwedhi ma en fwenyruok man-gi duongʼ mar Nyasacha maduongʼ kod Jawarwa, Yesu Kristo,
expecting the blessed hope, and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 mane ochiworenwa mondo oreswa wawe timbe maricho kendo mondo opwodh ne en owuon joma owinjore bedo joge, moikore timo gik mabeyo.
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 Koro magi e gik monego ipuonji. Jiw ji kendo ikwergi gi teko duto. Kik iwene ngʼato thuolo mondo ochayi.
These things speak and enjoin, and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
