1 Emomiyo, kaka koro oseketwa kare kuom yie, wan gi kwe gi Nyasaye kuom Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo,
Since we stand justified as the result of faith, let us continue to enjoy the peace we have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 ma kuome waseyude kuom yie yor chopo e ngʼwono makoro wan-goni. Bende wail kuom geno mar duongʼ mar Nyasaye.
Through him also we have had our access into this grace in which we have taken our stand, and are exulting in hope of the glory of God.
3 To ok mano kende, to wanamor bende kuom chandruok mwayudo, nikech wangʼeyo ni chandruok kelo kinda,
And not only so, but we are actually exulting also even in our troubles; for we know that trouble works fortitude,
4 to kinda kelo kido maber to kido maber kelo geno.
and fortitude character, and character, hope -
5 To geno ok kuod wiwa, nikech Nyasaye oseolo herane ei chunywa kuom Roho Maler, ma osemiyowa.
a hope which never disappoints us. For through the Holy Spirit who has given to us, the "brimming river of the love of God" has overflowed in our hearts.
6 Nikech, e kinde mowinjore, kane pod ok wanyal, to Kristo notho ne joricho.
For while we were still without strength, Christ died in due time for the ungodly.
7 Ok en gima yot mondo ngʼato otho ni ngʼat makare; dipo nono ngʼato ditho ni ngʼat maber.
Why, a man will hardly give his life for another, even for a righteous man, though perchance for a good man one might even take it upon himself to die.
8 To Nyasaye nyiso herane moherowago kama: Kane pod wan joricho, to Kristo nothonwa.
But God gives proof of his love to us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Kaka koro oseketwa kare kuom rembe, donge ibiro reswa chuth kendo moloyo e mirimb Nyasaye nikech En!
By how much more, then, being now justified in his blood, shall we be saved through him from the wrath of God.
10 Nikech kane pod wan wasik Nyasaye to ne oketowa osiepene kuom tho mar Wuode, koro kaka wasebedo osiepene donge ibiro reswa moloyo nikech ngimane!
For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved in his life.
11 To ok mano kende, wamor bende kuom Nyasaye, nikech Ruodhwa Yesu Kristo, ma kuome oseketwa wabedo e winjruok gi Nyasaye.
And not only that, but we exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now obtained our reconciliation.
12 Emomiyo mana kaka richo nodonjo e piny nikech ngʼato achiel, kendo richono nokelo tho; e kaka tho nobiro kuom ji duto, nikech ji duto noketho,
Thus, then, sin came into the world through one man, and through sin came death and so death spread to all men, because all had sinned.
13 chutho richo ne ni e piny kane pok Chik obetie. To richo ok kwan kaka richo ka Chik onge.
For prior to the Law, sin actually existed in the world, but sin was not set down to man’s account when there was no law.
14 Kata kamano, tho nobedo gi teko kuomgi chakre ndalo Adam nyaka ndalo Musa, kendo noloyo nyaka joma ne ok oketho chik kaka Adam, mane en kido mar Jal mane onego obi.
Nevertheless, from Adam to Moses death reigned as king, even over those who had not sinned after the likeness of Adam’s transgression. Now Adam is a type of Him who was to come.
15 Mich mar Nyasaye ok chal gi timo richo.
But the free gift is not like the transgression; for if through the transgression of that one man the rest on men died, much more did the grace of God and the gift given in his grace in the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow unto the rest of men.
16 To bende mich Nyasaye opogore gi gima richo mar ngʼat achiel nokelo. Bura nobiro nikech richo mar ngʼato achielno mokele kum, to richo mar ji mangʼeny nokelo ngʼwono mane omiyo ji duto obedoe e winjruok gi Nyasaye.
And it is not with the free gift as it was through the one that sinned; for the judgment came from one transgression unto condemnation; but the free gift came from many transgressions unto acquittal.
17 Nikech ka richo mar ngʼat achiel nomiyo tho olocho kuom ngʼat achielno, koro joma yudo ngʼwono mogundho kod mich mar ngima makare donge biro bedo gi loch mar ngima maduongʼ moloyo kuom ngʼat achielno, ma en Yesu Kristo.
For if through the transgression of the one, death reigned as king through the one, much more shall those who receive the overflowing grace and gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through One, through Jesus Christ.
18 Emomiyo mana kaka bayo yo mar ngʼato achiel nokelo kum ni ji duto, e kaka tim makare mar ngʼat achielno miyo ji duto bedo makare kendo yudo ngima.
It follows then, as through the transgression of one man came condemnation unto all men, even so through the act of righteousness of One came acquittal and life to all men.
19 Nikech kaka tamruok winjo wach mar ngʼat achiel nomiyo ji mangʼeny odoko joricho, e kaka winjo wach mar ngʼat achielno biro miyo iketo ji mangʼeny kare.
For just as through the disobedience of one man the rest were made sinners; even so by the obedience of One shall all the rest be made righteous.
20 To Chik nomedi mondo richo omedre. To kama richo nomedoree, ngʼwono nomedoree moloyo,
Now law was brought in so that transgression might abound; but where sin abounded, grace super-abounded;
21 mondo kaka richo nobedo gi loch mokelo tho, e kaka ngʼwono bende obedie gi loch kuom tim makare, makelo ngima mochwere kuom Yesu Kristo Ruodhwa. (aiōnios g166)
in order that as sin has ruled as king in death, so also grace might rule as king in righteousness which issues in eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord, - ours! (aiōnios g166)
