1 Ma e fweny ma Nyasaye nomiyo Yesu Kristo mondo onyisgo jotichne gik manyaka timre mapiyo. Kristo nomiyo fwenyni ongʼere ka nooro malaikane mondo onyis Johana jatichne.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants what must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John;
2 Johana nyiso gigo duto mane oneno e fweny ma en wach Nyasaye kod weche duto mane Yesu Kristo owacho.
who bore witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, —of whatever he saw.
3 Ngʼatno masomo weche mokorgi en jahawi kendo ogwedh jogo mawinjo wechegi kendo kano weche mondikgi e chunygi, nikech kinde ma gigi biro timoree chiegni.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things written therein; for the time is at hand.
4 An Johana, Andiko ni kanise abiriyo manie piny Asia: Ngʼwono kod kwe obednu koa kuom Jal mantie, Jal mane nitie kendo Jal mabiro betie, kendo koa kuom Roho abiriyo manie nyim kom duongʼne,
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven spirits which are before his throne;
5 kendo moa kuom Yesu Kristo, ma janeno mar adier ma ok lokre, jal mane okwongo chier oa kuom joma otho, jaloch mar ruodhi manie piny. Ne Jal moherowa kendo mosegonyowa kuom richowa gi rembe,
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him that loveth us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 mi osemiyo wadoko oganda mag pinyruodhi kod jodolo matiyone Nyasache kendo Wuon mare kendo wuon-gi, mad duongʼ odogne manyaka chiengʼ! Amin. (aiōn )
and made us a kingdom, priests to God his Father, to him be the glory and the dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
7 “Neuru, obiro gi boche polo,” kendo “wenge duto nonene, nyaka jogo mane ochwowe gi tongʼ”; kendo ogendini duto “manie piny noywagre nikech en.”
Behold, he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 Ruoth Nyasaye wacho niya, “An e Alfa gi Omega, tiende ni Chakruok kendo Giko, Jal mantie, Jal mane nitie, kendo Jal mabiro betie, Jehova Nyasaye Maratego.”
I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, he who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
9 An Johana ma owadu, ma bende achiel kodu e sand gi pinyruoth kod dhil e kinda marwa kuom Yesu, ne an e chula mar Fatimo nikech wach Nyasaye, kod timo neno kuom Yesu.
I John, your brother, and companion in the affliction and kingdom and endurance in Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, on account of the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus.
10 E odiechieng Ruoth, ne an kuom Roho, ne awinjo dwol maduongʼ makok ka turumbete yo kangʼeya.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day; and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Kowacho niya, “Ndik gik moko duto mineno e kitabu kendo orgi ne kanise abiriyogi: Efeso, gi Smurna, gi Pergamo, gi Thuatira, gi Sarde gi Filadelfia kod Laodikia.”
saying: What thou seest, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamus, and to Thyatira, and to Sardes, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.
12 Eka nalokora mondo ane ngʼat mane wuoyo koda. Kane alokora ne aneno rachungi teyni abiriyo mag dhahabu,
And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me; and having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks,
13 to e dier rachungi teynigo ne nitie ngʼato machalo gi wuod dhano morwakore gi kandho mochopo nyaka e tiende piny, kendo kotweyo kore gi okanda mar dhahabu.
and in the midst of the candlesticks one like to a son of man, clothed with a garment reaching down to the feet, and girded at the breasts with a golden girdle.
14 Yie wiye ne rachar ka yie rombo, bende ne rachar ka pe, to wengene ne chalo gi mach makakni.
His head and his hairs were white as white wool, as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 Tiendene ne pakni ka mula mopwodhi gi mach, bende dwonde ne mor ka pi mopongʼ mawuo.
and his feet were like fine brass, as if burning in a furnace; and his voice was as the sound of many waters.
16 E lwete ma korachwich notingʼo sulwe abiriyo, bende ligangla mabith ma dhoge ariyo ne wuok e dhoge. Lela wangʼe ne rieny ka chiengʼ marieny mangʼangʼni.
And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword; and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 Kane anene, ne apodho e tiende mana ka ngʼat motho. Eka noketo lwete ma korachwich kuoma mowachona niya, “Kik iluor. An e Jal Mokwongo kendo Jal Mogik.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand on me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,
18 An e Jal Mangima; ne atho, to koro angima nyaka chiengʼ! An-gi rayaw mar tho kod mar piny joma otho. (aiōn , Hadēs )
and he that liveth; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore; and I have the keys of death and the underworld. (aiōn , Hadēs )
19 “Kuom mano, ndik gigo miseneno, gigo mantie kod gigo mabiro timore e kindego mabiro.
Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall be after these;
20 Tiend wach mopandi mar sulwe abiriyo mane ineno e lweta ma korachwich, kod rachungi teyni abiriyogo mag dhahabu ema: Sulwe abiriyogo e malaike mag kanise abiriyo, to rachungi teyni abiriyo gin e kanise abiriyogo.
the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches; and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.
