< Fweny 6 >
1 Eka naneno Nyarombo ka elo achiel kuom kido abiriyogo. Nawinjo dwond achiel kuom gik mangima angʼwen-go kaluongo gi dwol machalo ka mor polo, kawacho niya; “Bi!”
AND I saw when the lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living beings, saying, as with a voice of thunder, Come, and see.
2 Ne angʼicho mi aneno faras marachar. Ngʼat moidhe ne otingʼo atungʼ kendo ne osidhne osimbo. Ne owuok gi farase ka jaloch madhi mondo olochi.
And I looked, and lo! a white horse; and he who sat on it held a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
3 Kane Nyarombo noketho kido mar ariyo, ne awinjo gima ngima mar ariyo kaluongo niya, “Bi!”
And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living being say, Come and see.
4 Eka faras machielo ma silwal nobiro. Ngʼat moidhe ne omi teko mondo ogol kwe e piny, mondo ji onegre kendgi. Ngʼatno nomi ligangla maduongʼ!
And there went out another horse flame-coloured; and to him who sat thereon there was power given to take peace from the earth, and that men should kill each other; and there was given to him a great sword.
5 Kane Nyarombo noketho kido mar adek, ne awinjo gima ngima mar adek kawacho niya, “Bi!” Ne angʼicho to e nyima kanyo ne nitie faras maratengʼ! Ngʼat moidhe ne otingʼo ratil e lwete.
And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living being say, Come and see. And I saw, and lo! a black horse; and he that sat upon it had a pair of scales in his hand.
6 Ne awinjo gima chalo gi dwol e dier gik mangima angʼwen-go kawacho niya, “Koro gorogoro mar ngano ibiro ngʼiew gi nengo maromre gi chudo michulo jatich e odiechiengʼ achiel kendo gorogoro adek mar shairi bende chal gi chudono, to nengo mo zeituni gi divai kik medi.”
And I heard a voice from amidst the four living beings saying, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixs of barley for a denarius; yet to the oil and the wine do no injury.
7 Ka Nyarombo noketho kido mar angʼwen, nawinjo dwond gima ngima mar angʼwen kaluongo niya, “Bi!”
And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living being saying, Come and see.
8 Nangʼicho to ne aneno faras marabuor e nyima! Ngʼat moidhe niluongo ni Tho, to piny joma otho ne luwo bangʼe machiegni. Ne omigi teko kuom bath piny moromo achiel kuom angʼwen mondo gimi lweny kata kech kata dera kata tuoche kata ondiegi maricho mag bungu mondo gineg ji. (Hadēs )
And I looked, and lo! a pale coloured horse, and one sat on it, whose name was Death, and the grave followed after him: and power was given to them to kill the fourth part of the earth with the sword, and with famine, and with death, and with the wild beasts of the earth. (Hadēs )
9 Kane oketho kido mar abich, ne aneno chunje jomoko mane osenegi ka nitie e bwo kendo mar misango nikech Wach Nyasaye kendo nikech neno mane gisiko gihulo.
And when he opened the fifth seal I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they maintained.
10 Eka ne giywak gi dwol maduongʼ niya, “Nyaka karangʼo ma ibiro ngʼado bura ni joma odak e piny ka ichulo kuor kuom rembwa, yaye Ruoth Manyalo Gik Moko Duto, in miler kendo ja-adiera?”
And they cried with a loud voice, How long will it be, O sovereign, the holy one and the true, ere thou judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
11 Eka ngʼato ka ngʼato kuomgi nomi kandho marachar, kendo nowachnigi ni mondo girit kuom kinde matin, nyaka kwan mar jotich wetegi kod jowetegi mibiro nego kaka ne oneg-gi orom.
And to each of them were given white robes, and it was told them that they should wait yet a little longer space, until the number of their fellow-servants and their brethren, who should be slain as well as they, should be completed.
12 Ne angʼicho kane oyawo kido mar auchiel. Piny noyiengni matek. Mi wangʼ chiengʼ nolokore maratengʼ ti, machal gi lep gugru mirwako e kuyo molos gi yie diel, dwe bende nolokore makwar ka remo;
And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and lo! there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 kendo sulwe manie polo nolwar e piny mana kaka olemo mag ngʼowu mapok ochiek lwar koa kuom yadhe ka yamo mager kudho.
and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as the fig-tree sheddeth her early ripe figs when shaken by a mighty wind:
14 Polo nolal nono ka kitabu mibano kendo gode duto gi chula duto nogol oa kuonde mane gintie.
and the heaven was removed away as a volume rolled up and every mountain and island were removed out of their places:
15 Eka ruodhi mag piny, gi ji madongo, kod jotelo mag lweny, gi jo-mwandu, kod joma roteke, kaachiel gi ji duto ma wasumbini, gi joma ni thuolo, giduto ne gipondo e rogo kendo e bwo lwendni mag gode.
and the kings of the earth, and the grandees, and the rich, and the military commanders, and the men in power, and every slave, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves, and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 Negiluongo gode gi lwendini kagiwacho niya, “Podhuru kuomwa mondo uumwa kupandowa ni wangʼ Jal mobet e kom duongʼno, kendo ne mirimb Nyarombo!
and said to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 Nikech chiengʼ maduongʼ mar mirimb Nyasaye osechopo, to en ngʼama nyalo chungʼ mondo osire.”
for the great day of his wrath is come, and who is able to stand?
