< Fweny 21 >

1 Eka ne aneno polo manyien gi piny manyien. Polo mokwongo gi piny mokwongo noselal, to nam bende noselal kamano.
Then I saw new heavens and a new earth. The former heavens and the former earth had passed away; and the sea has ceased to be.
2 Bangʼe naneno Dala Maduongʼ Maler, ma en Jerusalem manyien kalor piny oa e polo ir Nyasaye, ka oikore ka miaha morwakore maber ni chwore.
And I saw the Holy City, Jerusalem, descending new out of Heaven from God, like a bride adorned in readiness for her husband.
3 To ne awinjo dwol maduongʼ moa e kom duongʼ mar loch mawacho niya, “Koro Nyasaye osebiro dak gi ji kendo enodag kodgi, ginibed joge, to Nyasaye owuon enobed kodgi kendo nobed Nyasachgi.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne, which said — ‘See! the Tabernacle of God is set up among men. God will dwell among them, and they will be his Peoples, and God himself will be among them,
4 Enoywe pi wengegi duto. Tho kata ywak gi nduru kod rem ok nochak obedie kendo ngangʼ, nikech gik machon oserumo.”
and he will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, nor will there be any more grief or crying or pain. The old order has passed away.’
5 Jal manobedo e kom duongʼ mar loch nowacho niya, “Neuru! Aloso gik moko duto bedo manyien!” Eka nowachona kendo niya, “Ndik ma, nikech wechegi gin migeno kendo gin adiera.”
And he who was seated on the throne said — ‘See, I make all things new!’ And he said — ‘Write this, for these words may be trusted and are true.’
6 Bangʼ mano nowachona niya, “Gik moko osetimore. An e Alfa gi Omega, Chakruok gi Giko. Ngʼat ma riyo oloyo anami omodh pi soko mar ngima nono ma ok ochulo gimoro.
And he said to me — ‘They are fulfilled. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the spring of the Water of Life, freely.
7 Ngʼat molocho noyud gigi duto kaka girkeni, kendo anabed Nyasache, to enobed wuoda.
He who conquers shall enter into possession of these things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my Son.
8 To joma luor, gi joma ok oyie kod jo-koko gi jonek kod joma terore, gi jojuogi gi joma lamo nyiseche manono kod jo-miriambo duto, kargi nobed mana ataro mar mach maliel mager, ma en tho mar ariyo!” (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
But as for cowards, unbelievers, the degraded, murderers, the impure, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars — their place will be in the burning lake of fire and sulphur. That is the Second Death.’ (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
9 Eka achiel kuom malaike abiriyogo mane nigi tewni abiriyo motingʼo masiche abiriyo mogik nobiro ira mowachona niya, “Bi, mondo anyisi miaha ma en chi Nyarombo.”
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, and were laden with the seven last Curses, came and spoke to me. ‘Come here,’ he said, ‘and I will show you the Bride, the Wife of the Lamb.’
10 Roho nopongʼa kendo malaikano notingʼa motera malo ewi got mabor, mi nonyisa Jerusalem, ma en Dala Maduongʼ Maler, kalor piny aa e polo ir Nyasaye.
He carried me away in a trance to a great high mountain, and showed me Jerusalem, the Holy City, descending out of Heaven from God, filled with the glory of God.
11 Ne orieny gi ler mar duongʼ Nyasaye, to lerne ne rieny ka kidi ma nengone tek, kaka jaspa maler ahinya.
Its brilliance was like that of some very precious stone, like a jasper, transparent as crystal.
12 Ne en gi ohinga maduongʼ kendo mabor man-gi dhorangeye apar gariyo kendo man-gi malaike apar gariyo e dhorangeyego. Bende e dhorangeyego nondikie nying ogendini apar gariyo mag Israel.
It had a great high wall, in which were twelve gates; and at these gates there were twelve angels, and there were names inscribed on the gates, the names of the twelve tribes of the Israelites.
13 Dhorangeye adek ne ni yo wuok chiengʼ, to adek yo nyandwat, kendo adek yo milambo bende adek mamoko yo podho chiengʼ.
‘There were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.’
14 To ohinga mar dalano ne nigi mise apar gariyo, mane ondikie nying joote apar gariyo mag Nyarombo.
The wall of the City had twelve foundation stones, on which were the twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
15 Malaikano mane owuoyo koda, ne nigi luth mar rapim molos gi dhahabu mipimogo dalano, gi dhorangeyene kod ohingane.
And the angel who was speaking to me had as a measure a gold rod, with which to measure the City and its gates and its wall.
16 Dalano noger ma bethene angʼwen romre, ka borne ne rom gi lachne. Nopimo dala gi luth kendo noyudo ni borne gi lachne kod borne modhi malo ne romo kilomita alufu ariyo gi mia ariyo maromre.
The City is square; the length and the breadth are the same. The angel measured with his rod; it was twelve hundred miles; its length, and breadth, and height are equal.
17 Bende ne opimo ohingane, mi oyudo ni pek mar kore oromo bede mia achiel gi piero angʼwen gangʼwen, kipimo gi bat mar dhano, ma en rapim mane malaika otiyogo.
Then he measured the wall; it was two hundred and eighty-eight feet, as men measure, that is as the angel measured.
18 Ohingano noger gi jaspa, to dalano noger gi dhahabu lilo marieny ka kio maler.
The material of the wall of the City was jasper, and the City was built of pure gold, which shone like clear glass.
19 Mise mar ohinga mar dala nokedi gi kite mabeyo duto ma nengogi tek. Mise mokwongo nolos gi jaspa, to mar ariyo ne safir, eka mar adek ne kalkedo kendo mar angʼwen ne emerald,
The foundations of the wall of the City were ornamented with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was a jasper; the second a sapphire; the third a chalcedony; the fourth an emerald;
20 to mar abich ne sardonikso, mar auchiel ne sardius, eka mar abiriyo ne krusolith, to mar aboro ne berul, mar ochiko ne topaz, to mar apar ne kruskopraso, kendo mar apar gachiel ne jasinth, to mar apar gariyo ne amethusto.
the fifth a sardonyx; the sixth a carnelian; the seventh a chrysolite; the eighth a beryl; the ninth a topaz; the tenth a chrysoprase; the eleventh a hyacinth; and the twelfth an amethyst.
21 Dhorangeye apar gariyogo ne gin kite mag lulu ma nengogi tek, kendo dhorangach ka dhorangach nolos gi lulu achiel achiel moriwore. Yor dalano ne dhahabu lilo marieny maler ka kio.
The twelve gates were made of twelve pearls, each gate of one pearl. The street of the City was of pure gold, transparent as glass.
22 To ne ok aneno hekalu ei dalano, nikech Ruoth Nyasaye Maratego kod Nyarombo ema obedo hekalu mare.
And I saw no Temple there, for the Lord, our God, the Almighty, and the Lamb are its Temple.
23 Dalano ok dwar chiengʼ kata dwe mondo orienyne, nikech duongʼ Nyasaye ema miye ler, kendo Nyarombo e tache.
The City has no need of ‘the sun or the moon to shine upon it, for the Glory of God illuminated it,’ and its Lamp was the Lamb.
24 Ogendini nowuothi e lerne, kendo ruodhi mag pinje nokel duongʼ-gi e iye.
‘The nations walk by the light of it; and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.
25 Dhorangeyene ok nolor odiechiengʼ moro amora, to otieno bende ok nobedie ngangʼ.
Its gates will never be shut by day,’ and there will be no night there.
26 Duongʼ gi mwandu mag ogendini mag pinje nokel e iye.
And men will bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 To gimoro amora ma ok ler, kata ngʼato matimo gik makwero, kata mariambo, ok nodonjie, makmana jogo ma nying-gi ondiki e kitap Nyarombo mar ngima kende.
‘Never shall any unhallowed thing enter it,’ nor he whose life is shameful and false, but only ‘those whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.’
