< Zaburi 92 >
1 Zaburi. Wer. Ne chiengʼ Sabato. Pako Jehova Nyasaye en gima ber kendo wero wende mapako nyingi bende ber, yaye Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo,
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 hulo herani gokinyi kod adierani gotieno,
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 kiwer gi nyatiti matin ma tondene apar ka wer ridore gi nyatiti maduongʼ ber adier.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Nimar timbeni miya mor, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; awer gi mor nikech tije ma lweti otimo.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Mano kaka tijeni dongo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mano kaka pachi tut miwuoro!
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Ngʼama omingʼ ok nyal ngʼeyo, joma ofuwo ok winj tiend wachno,
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 ni kata obedo ni joma timbegi richo nyalo loth kaka lum kendo joricho nyalo dhi maber, to ibiro tiekgi chuth nyaka chiengʼ.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 To in, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ibiro siko kimiyi duongʼ nyaka chiengʼ.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Nimar ka kuom adier, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ka kuom adier to wasiki duto biro lal nono; joricho duto ibiro ke mel.
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Isemiyo tungena odoko ma roboche ka tunge jowi; oseol kuoma modhi maliw.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 Aseneno gi wengena ka iloyo wasika kendo asewinjo gi itena ka joma oramona ma timbegi richo itieko.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Joma kare biro loth maber ka yiend othith, gibiro dongo ka yiend sida mar Lebanon;
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Nikech opidhgi e od Jehova Nyasaye, gibiro loth e agolni mag Nyasachwa.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Kata hikgi oniangʼ to pod gininyag mana olemo, kendo ginisik ka ginyien kendo gingʼich,
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 ka gilando niya “Jehova Nyasaye oriere tir; en e Lwandana, kendo onge richo moro amora kuome.”
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
