< Zaburi 9 >

1 Kuom jatend wer. E dwol mar “Tho mar wuowi.” Zaburi mar Daudi. Abiro paki gi chunya duto, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; abiro nyiso timbegi madongo duto.
“To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
2 Abiro bedo mamor kendo abiro bedo moil kodi; abiro pako nyingi gi wer, yaye Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo.
I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
3 Wasika dok chien; gichwanyore kendo gilal e nyimi.
When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
4 Nikech isechungʼna matek ka ichwaka isebet e kom duongʼ mari, kiyalo bura kare.
For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
5 Isekwero ogendini kendo isetieko joma richo; iserucho nying-gi oko manyaka chiengʼ.
Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
6 Kethruok mosiko osejuko jasigu, isemuko miechgi madongo; kendo wi ji osewil kodgi.
O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
7 Jehova Nyasaye olocho nyaka chiengʼ, oseguro kom loch mare mar ngʼado bura.
But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
8 Obiro ngʼado bura ne piny gi tim makare; obiro rito ogendini gi adiera.
And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
9 Jehova Nyasaye en kar pondo ne joma idiyo, en e kar pondo e kinde mag chandruok.
The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
10 Joma ongʼeyo nyingi biro geno kuomi, nikech in, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ne pok ijwangʼo joma manyi.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
11 Wer wende pak ne Jehova Nyasaye, mobet e kom lochne e Sayun; hul ni ogendini gik mosetimo.
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
12 Nikech ngʼat machulo kuor kuom remo mochwer siko kaparo; ok owe mak odewo ywak joma hinyore.
For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
13 Neye kaka wasika sanda, yaye Jehova Nyasaye! Kecha kendo tingʼa igola e dhorangeye mag tho,
Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 mondo anyis pakni e dhorangeye mag Nyi Sayun, kendo abed mamor kuno nikech warruokni.
In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
15 Ogendini oselutore e buche ma gikunyo; tiendegi ogajore e tondegi ma gichokogo ji.
Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
16 Jehova Nyasaye ongʼere nikech adier mare; joma timbegi richo omoko e gik ma giloso gi lwetgi giwegi. (Higaion, Sela)
The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
17 Joma timbegi richo dok e bur matut, nyaka ogendini duto ma wigi wil gi Nyasaye. (Sheol h7585)
The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol h7585)
18 To jochan wiyi ok nowilgo ngangʼ kendo geno mar joma hinyore ok rum.
For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Aa malo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kik iyie mondo dhano olochi; ne ni ogendini ongʼadnegi bura e nyimi.
Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
20 Gogi gi luoro, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; mi ogendini ongʼe ni gin mana dhano. (Sela)
Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
