< Zaburi 87 >
1 Zaburi mar yawuot Kora. Wer. Oseguro mise mare ewi got maler;
A Psalm of a Song for the sons of Core. His foundations are in the holy mountains.
2 Jehova Nyasaye ohero rangeye mag Sayun, moloyo kuonde dak duto mag Jakobo.
The Lord loves the gates of Sion, more than all the tabernacles of Jacob.
3 Ji wacho gik madongo kuomi, yaye dala maduongʼ mar Nyasaye: (Sela)
Glorious things have been spoken of you, O city of God. (Pause)
4 “Abiro kwano Rahab gi Babulon e kanyakla mar joma ongʼeya, nyaka Filistia bende, kod Turo, kaachiel gi Kush kendo abiro wacho ni, ‘Ngʼatni nonywol ei Sayun.’”
I will make mention of Raab and Babylon to them that know me: behold also the Philistines, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these were born there.
5 Adier, nowachi kuom Sayun niya, “En min ogendini mathoth, kendo Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo owuon biro chunge.”
A man shall say, Sion [is my] mother; and [such] a man was born in her; and the Highest himself has founded her.
6 Jehova Nyasaye biro ndiko e kitabu mindikoe nying ogendini kama: “Jali nonywol ei Sayun.” (Sela)
The Lord shall recount [it] in the writing of the people, and of these princes that were born in her.
7 Sa ma giloso wer to giniwer niya, “Soknina duto ni e iyi.”
The dwelling of all within you is [as the dwelling] of those that rejoice.
