1 Lemo mar Daudi. Winj lamona, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kendo dwoka, nimar adhier kendo achando.
Yahweh, listen [IDM] to what I say and answer me, because I am weak and needy.
2 Rit ngimana, nikech achiworani. In e Nyasacha, omiyo res ngima jatichni, mogeno kuomi.
Prevent me from dying now, because I (am loyal to/continue to believe in) you; save/rescue me, because I serve you and I trust in you, my God.
3 Kecha, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye, nimar aywakni odiechiengʼ duto.
Lord, be kind to me, because I cry out to you all during the day.
4 Mi jatichni obed mamor, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye, nimar in ema aketo genona kuomi.
Lord, cause me to be glad, because I (pray to/worship) [IDM] you.
5 Nikech in iber kendo iweyo richo, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye in gihera mangʼeny kuom joma luongi.
Lord, you are good [to us], and you forgive [us]; you faithfully love very much all those who (pray/call out) to you.
6 Winj lamona, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; chik iti ne ywakna ma akwayigo kech.
Lord, listen to my prayer; hear me when I cry out to you to help me.
7 Chiengʼ ma chandruok omaka to abiro luongi mondo ikonya, nimar ibiro dwoka.
When I have troubles, I call out to you, because you answer me.
8 Onge nyasaye moro amora e dier nyiseche machalo kodi, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye; onge timbe minyalo pimo gi magi.
Lord, among all the gods [whom the heathen nations worship], there is no one like you; not one of them has done [the great things] that you have done.
9 Ogendini duto michweyo biro lami kapodho e nyimi, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye; bende gibiro miyo nyingi duongʼ.
Lord, [some day, people from] all the nations that you have established will come and bow down in front of you and they will praise you [MTY].
10 Nimar iduongʼ kendo itimo timbe miwuoro; in e Nyasaye kende.
You are great, and you do wonderful/marvelous things; only you are God.
11 Puonja yoreni, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mondo eka awuothi e adierani; miya chuny ma ok ba koni gi koni, mondo omi aluor nyingi.
Yahweh, teach me what you want me to do in order that I may conduct my life according to what you say, which is true. Cause/Teach me to revere you.
12 Abiro paki gi chunya duto, yaye Ruoth Nyasacha, abiro miyo nyingi duongʼ nyaka chiengʼ.
Lord, my God, I [will] thank you with all my inner being, and I will praise you forever.
13 Nimar (hera) ma iherago duongʼ, kendo isegola ei chuny bur matut. (Sheol )
You faithfully love me very much; you have prevented me from [dying and going to] the place where dead people are. (Sheol )
14 Josunga ma wengegi tek monja, yaye Nyasaye; migawo mar joma ok kech ngʼato dwaro tieko ngimana, joma ok dew kata in.
But God, proud men are [trying to] attack me; a gang/group of cruel men are wanting to kill me; they are men who do not have any (respect for/interest in) you.
15 In to in Nyasaye ma kecho kendo ngʼwon, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, iyi ok wangʼ piyo, ipongʼ gihera kendo in ja-adiera.
But Lord, you always are mercifully and kind; you do not become angry quickly, you faithfully love us very much and always do for us what you have promised to do.
16 Duog ira mondo ikecha; med jatichni tekoni, kendo res jatichni mogeni.
Look down toward me and be merciful to me; cause me to be strong and save/rescue me who serves you [faithfully] like my mother did.
17 Miyae ranyisi mar berni, mondo wasika one mi wigi okuodi, nimar in ema isebedo ka ikonya kendo ihoya, yaye Jehova Nyasaye.
Yahweh, do something to show me that you are being good to me in order that those who hate me will see that you have encouraged me and helped me, and as a result they will be ashamed.
