< Zaburi 83 >
1 Wer. Zaburi mar Asaf. Kik ilingʼ, yaye Nyasaye; kik iywe, yaye Nyasaye, bende kik ibed mos.
A Song; a Psalm of Asaph. O God, keep not silence; hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God:
2 Neye kaka wasiki piem kodi gi koko maduongʼ. Neye kaka joma kedo kodi ngʼanyoni.
For behold, thine enemies make a tumult; and they that hate thee lift up the head.
3 Gichano timo ne jogi marach lingʼ-lingʼ; giloso chenro maricho ne joma chunyi ohero.
They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consult against thy hidden ones:
4 Giwacho niya, “Biuru watiekgi mi girum pep kaka oganda, mondo nying mar Israel kik chak par kendo.”
They say, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, and let the name of Israel be mentioned no more.
5 Giloso chenro ka giriwo pachgi bedo achiel, gilosoni riwruok mondo giked kodi.
For they have consulted together with one heart: they have made an alliance together against thee.
6 Gin jo-Edom gi jo-Ishmael, jo-Moab gi jo-Hagri,
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarites;
7 jo-Gebal, jo-Amon kod jo-Amalek, jo-Filistia kaachiel gi joma odak Turo.
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia, with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Nyaka jo-Asuria bende oseriwore kodgi mondo oriw lwetgi ne nyikwa Lut. (Sela)
Asshur also is joined with them: they are an arm to the sons of Lot. (Selah)
9 Timnegi kaka ne itimo ne Midian, mana kaka nitimo ne Sisera gi Jabin e Aora Kishon,
Do unto them as to Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the torrent of Kishon:
10 mane jotho Endor modoko owuoyo mar dhok e lowo.
Who were destroyed at Endor; they became as dung for the ground.
11 Mi jogi momew ochal gi Oreb kod Zeb mi ruodhigi duto chal gi Zeba kod Zalmuna,
Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb; and all their chiefs as Zebah and as Zalmunna.
12 mane jowacho niya, “Wakawuru pewe mag kwath mag Nyasaye mondo obed marwa.”
For they have said, Let us take to ourselves God's dwelling-places in possession.
13 Mi gichal gi buya mayot-yot, yaye Nyasacha, mi gichal gi mihudhwe ma yamo tero.
O my God, make them like a whirling thing, like stubble before the wind.
14 Mana kaka mach wangʼo bungu maduongʼ kata kaka mach wangʼo wi got,
As fire burneth a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire,
15 e kaka in bende ilawgi gi ahiti maduongʼ kendo ibwog-gi gi yambi makudho matek.
So pursue them with thy tempest, and terrify them with thy whirlwind.
16 Pongʼ wengegi gi wichkuot mondo ji omany nyingi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye.
Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Jehovah.
17 Mad wigi kuodi nyaka chiengʼ kendo gisiki ka luoro omakogi; mad gilal nono ka gin gi wichkuot.
Let them be put to shame and be dismayed for ever, and let them be confounded and perish:
18 Mi gingʼe ni in, ma nyingi Jehova Nyasaye; ni in kendi e Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo kendo ni iloyo piny duto.
That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, art the Most High over all the earth.
