< Zaburi 82 >

1 Zaburi mar Asaf. Nyasaye osekawo kare e dier chokruok maduongʼ, ongʼado bura e kind “nyiseche.”
— A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.
2 Nyaka karangʼo ma ubiro dhi nyime ka udewo wangʼ joma ok timbegi nikare kendo kudewo wangʼ joma timbegi richo? (Sela)
Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? (Selah)
3 Ngʼaduru bura makare ne joma ok nyal kod nyithi kiye, kendo konyuru joma odhier kod joma ok nyal konyore kendgi.
Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.
4 Resuru joma ok nyal kod joma ochando; golgiuru e lwet joma timbegi richo.
Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.
5 To gisesiko ka gimemore kendo onge gima gingʼeyo. Giwuotho koni gi koni e mudho; kendo gimiyo mise duto mag piny yiengni.
They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.
6 “Asenyisou ni, ‘Un “nyiseche;” kendo ni un duto un yawuot Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo.’
I — I have said, 'Gods ye [are], And sons of the Most High — all of you,
7 To ubiro tho ka ji ajia; adier ubiro podho mana kaka jatelo moro amora ma ok otangʼ.”
But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall,
8 Aa malo, yaye Nyasaye, ngʼadni piny bura, nimar ogendini duto gin girkeni magi.
Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!
