< Zaburi 74 >
1 Maskil mar Asaf. Angʼo momiyo isedagiwa nyaka chiengʼ, yaye Nyasaye? Angʼo momiyo mirimbi dhwolore ka iro kochomo rombe mag lek mari iwuon?
[A contemplation by Asaph.] God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
2 Par jogi mane ingʼiewo chon gi lala, oganda ma gin girkeni mari, kendo mane iwaro, Got Sayun, kama in iwuon idakie.
Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance; Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
3 Lokri ichom kuonde mosebedo kokethore nyaka nene, lokri ichom kethruok maduongʼ ma jasigu osekelo e kari maler mar lemo.
Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
4 Wasiki noruto kama iromoe kodwa; kendo negichungo bendechegi mochungʼ kar timbegi maricho.
Your adversaries have roared in the midst of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
5 Negitimore marach mana ka ji mangʼawo leyegi malo ka gidwaro tongʼo yiende madongo dongo modongo modhigore.
They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
6 Negituro chumbe modol odol gi tindogi kod nyundogi.
Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
7 Ne giwangʼo kari maler mar lemo molokore buru, kendo ne gidwanyo kama nyingi dakie.
They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
8 Negiwacho e chunygi niya, “Wabiro tiekogi chuth!” Ne giwangʼo kuonde duto e piny mane ilame Nyasaye.
They said in their heart, "We will crush them completely." They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
9 Tinde ok wayud honni kata ranyisi, kendo onge jonabi modongʼ kata achiel, to onge kata ngʼato achiel kuomwa mongʼeyo ni mano biro bedo kamano nyaka karangʼo.
We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
10 Nyaka karangʼo ma jasigu biro jarie, yaye Nyasaye? Ibiro yiene jasigu mondo oyany nyingi nyaka chiengʼ koso?
How long, God, shall the enemy mock? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
11 Angʼo momiyo itamo lweti tiyo tichne, mana lweti ma korachwich? Gole oko kama isoye ei lepi mondo itiekgi!
Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it out of your pocket and consume them.
12 To Nyasaye in e Ruodha nyaka chakre chon, yaye Nyasaye, kendo isebedo kikelo resruok e piny.
Yet God is my King from long ago, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 In ema ne ipogo nam e diere ariyo gi tekoni, kendo ne itoyo wiye ondiek marach ei pi.
You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
14 In ema ne itoyo wiye Leviathan, mi ichiwe kaka chiemo ne le modak e thim.
You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
15 In ema ne iyawo sokni gi aore, kendo ne imiyo aore madongo ma ok dwon otwo.
You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
16 Odiechiengʼ en mari, kendo otieno bende mari, bende ne iguro wangʼ chiengʼ gi dwe keregi.
The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
17 In ema ne iketo tongʼ duto mag piny kende ne iguro oro gi chwiri.
You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
18 Parie kaka jasigu osejari, yaye Jehova Nyasaye. Parie kaka joma onge rieko osechayo nyingi.
Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
19 Kik iyie ichiw ngima mar akuch oduglani ne le mager mag bungu; kik wiyi wil gi ngima jogi mathagore nyaka chiengʼ.
Do not deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Do not forget the life of your poor forever.
20 Par singruok mari nikech timbe mahundu opongʼo kuonde duto motimo mudho e piny.
Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
21 Kik iyie mondo joma idiyo ringa ka wigi okuot, to mad joma odhier gi joma ochando opak nyingi.
Do not let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
22 Aa malo mondo isir tichni, yaye Nyasaye; parie kaka joma ofuwo jari odiechiengʼ duto.
Arise, God. Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
23 Kik wiyi wil gi sibuoch wasiki, chom tir sigich wasiki mosiko medore ameda.
Do not forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
