< Zaburi 68 >

1 Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Wer. Mad Nyasaye aa malo, mad wasike ke; mad joma kedo kode ring konene.
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. A song.] Let God arise. Let his enemies be scattered, and let them who hate him flee before him.
2 Mad iriembgi gi dhi mabor, mana kaka yamo riembo iro tero mabor; mad joma timbegi richo lal nono e nyim Nyasaye mana kaka odok leny kowinjo mach.
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 To joma kare to mad bed mamor kendo moil e nyim Nyasaye; mad gibed mamor kendo gibed mamor chuth.
But let the righteous be glad. Let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.
4 Weruru ne Nyasaye, weruru wende pak ne nyinge, miyeuru duongʼ, En moriembo gechene e boche polo, nyinge en Jehova Nyasaye, beduru moil e nyime.
Sing to God. Sing praises to his name. Extol him who rides on the clouds: to JAH, his name. Rejoice before him.
5 Nyasaye modak kare kama ler. En wuoro ne joma onge gi wuonegi kendo en jachwak mon ma chwogi otho.
A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 Nyasaye keto joma odongʼ kendgi e udi kendo otelo ne joma otwe kower; to joma ohero ngʼanyo to dak e piny ma chiengʼ otwoyo kururu.
God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.
7 Kane iwuok idhi kitelo ne jogi, yaye Nyasaye, kane iwuotho e piny mokethore maonge tich, (Sela)
God, when you went forth before your people, when you marched through the wilderness... (Selah)
8 piny noyiengni kendo polo noolo koth e piny, e nyim Nyasaye, Jal man Sinai, e nyim Nyasaye ma Nyasach Israel.
The earth trembled. The sky also poured down rain at the presence of the God of Sinai—at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Ne ichiwo koth mogundho, yaye Nyasaye; ne idwogo chuny girkeni mari mane ojony.
You, God, sent a plentiful rain. You confirmed your inheritance, when it was weary.
10 Jogi nokawo pinyno modakie kendo nichiwo ne joma odhier gik ma gilando, kigolo kuom mwanduni mogundho, yaye Nyasaye.
Your congregation lived in it. You, God, prepared your goodness for the poor.
11 Ruoth nolando wach kendo oganda mane okawo wachno mi okeye ne duongʼ mokalo:
YHWH announced the word; a great company of women proclaim the good news.
12 “Ruodhi gi jolweny dar gi ngʼwech; ji pogo gik moyaki e kambi.
"Kings of armies flee. They flee." She who waits at home divides the spoil,
13 Kata mana sa ma inindo but mach kama liet, to bwombe mag akuchena oum gi dhahabu, kendo yierene oum gi fedha maleny.”
while you sleep among the campfires, the wings of a dove sheathed with silver, her feathers with shining gold.
14 Kane Jal Maratego okeyo ruodhi manie piny, to ne ochal mana gi pe molwar koa e kama otingʼore gi malo mar Zalmon.
When Shaddai scattered kings in her, it snowed on Zalmon.
15 Gode mag Bashan gin gode madongo miwuoro; godego mag Bashan ojuothore adier.
The mountains of Bashan are majestic mountains. The mountains of Bashan are rugged.
16 Angʼo momiyo ungʼicho gi nyiego, yaye gode mojuothore, angʼo momiyo nyiego omakou gi got kama Nyasaye oyiero mondo ogurie lochne, kama Jehova Nyasaye owuon biro dakie nyaka chiengʼ?
Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, YHWH will dwell there forever.
17 Geche mag lweny mag Nyasaye gin tara gi tara; gingʼeny mokalo akwana; Ruoth osebiro koa Sinai mondo odonji kare maler.
The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. YHWH is among them, from Sinai, in holiness.
18 Kane iidho idhi malo to ne itelone joma nimako e lweny; kendo ne ikawo mich mane ji omiyi, nyaka mich mane jongʼanyo omiyi, mondo in Jehova Nyasaye, idag kanyo.
You have ascended on high. You have taken captivity captive. And you gave gifts to people; but the rebellious will not dwell in the presence of God.
19 Pak odog ne Ruoth, ma en Nyasaye ma Jawarwa, Nyasaye matingʼonwa pekwa ndalo duto. (Sela)
Blessed be YHWH, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Nyasachwa en Nyasaye ma waro ji; tony e tho aa kuom Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto ma Wuon Loch.
God is to us a God of deliverance. To YHWH belongs escape from death.
21 Kuom adier, Nyasaye biro toyo wiye wasike, obiro mayo joma dhi nyime gi timo richo osimbo motimo yier ma girwako.
But God will strike through the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of such a one as still continues in his guiltiness.
22 Ruoth wacho niya, “Abiro gologi oko Bashan; abiro gologi oko kama tut mar nam,
YHWH said, "I will bring you again from Bashan, I will bring you again from the depths of the sea;
23 mondo unyum tiendeu e remb joma kedo kodu, seche ma guogi magu olodho lewgi ka gichamo makorgi.”
That you may crush them, dipping your foot in blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies."
24 Wuodhi koro nenore maler, yaye Nyasaye, wuodh Nyasacha ma Ruodha nenore maler kodonjo kare maler.
They have seen your processions, God, even the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
25 Joma wer gi dhogi otelo eka joma wer ka goyo thumbe luwogi, nyiri magoyo oyieke bende ni kodgi machiegni.
The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, in the midst of the ladies playing with tambourines,
26 Pakuru Nyasaye e dier chokruok maduongʼ; pakuru Jehova Nyasaye e dier chokruok mar jo-Israel.
"Bless God in the congregations, even YHWH from the fountain of Israel."
27 Dhoot matin mar joka Benjamin otelonegi, oganda maduongʼ mar ruodhi moa e dhood Juda bende ni kodgi, eka nitie ruodhi moa e dhout Zebulun gi Naftali.
There is little Benjamin, their ruler, the princes of Judah, their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
28 Chok tekoni kaachiel, yaye Nyasaye; nyiswa tekoni, yaye Nyasaye; kaka isebedo kitimo nyaka aa chon.
Your God has commanded your strength. Strengthen, God, that which you have done for us.
29 Nikech hekalu mari man Jerusalem ruodhi biro keloni mich.
Because of your temple at Jerusalem, kings shall bring presents to you.
30 Kwer ondiek manie dier togo, kwer kweth mag rwedhi manie dier nyiroye mag ogendini. Mi okel sirni mangʼeny mag fedha ka wiye okuot. Ke ogendini mohero lweny.
Rebuke the wild animal of the reeds, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples. Being humbled, may it bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations that delight in war.
31 Joote biro biro koa Misri; Kush bende biro bolore ne Nyasaye.
Envoys shall come out of Egypt. Ethiopia shall hurry to stretch out her hands to God.
32 Weruru ne Nyasaye, yaye pinjeruodhi mag piny, weruru wende pak ne Ruoth Nyasaye, (Sela)
Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to YHWH. (Selah)
33 werneuru ne Jal mariembo gechene e kor polo malo manyaka nene, Jal mamor gi dwol maduongʼ.
To him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which are of old; look, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.
34 Landuru teko mar Nyasaye ma nigi duongʼ kuom Israel, kendo ma nigi teko e kor polo.
Ascribe strength to God. His excellency is over Israel, his strength is in the skies.
35 Ilich miwuoro ka in kari maler, yaye Nyasaye, Nyasach Israel chiwo teko gi nyalo ne joge. Pak mondo obed ne Nyasaye!
You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God.
