1 Kuom jatend wer. Gik miwergo man-gi tondegi. Zaburi. Wer. Mad Nyasaye timnwa ngʼwono kendo owinjwa; mad omi wangʼe rienynwa maber, (Sela)
God, be merciful to us and bless us; be kind to us [IDM],
2 mondo yoreni ongʼere e piny, kendo ogendini duto oyud warruokne.
in order that [everyone in] the world may know what you want them to do, and [the people of] all nations may know that you [have the power to] save [them].
3 Mad ji paki, yaye Nyasaye; mad ji duto opaki.
God, I desire that [all] people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!
4 Mad ogendini obed mamor kendo ower gi ilo, nikech irito ji gi ratiro, kendo itayo ogendini mag piny. (Sela)
I desire that [the people of all] nations will be glad and sing joyfully, because you judge the people-groups equally/justly, and you guide [all] nations in the world.
5 Mad ji paki, yaye Nyasaye; mad ji duto opaki.
God, I desire that the people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!
6 Eka piny biro chiego cham kaka owinjore kendo Nyasaye, ma Nyasachwa, biro gwedhowa.
Good crops have grown on our land; God, our God, has blessed us.
7 Nyasaye biro gwedhowa, kendo piny duto koni gi koni biro luore.
[And because] God has blessed us, I desire that all [people] everywhere [MTY] on the earth will revere him.
