1 Kuom jatend wer. E dwol mar “Ondanyo mar singruok.” Miktam mar Daudi. Mar puonjo. Kane okedo gi Aram-Naharaim kod Aram Zoba, kendo kane Joab odwogo mi onego jo-Edom alufu apar gariyo e Holo mar Chumbi. Yaye Nyasaye, isedagiwa mi imuomori kuomwa; isebedo ka ikecho kodwa, to koro loswa!

God hath spoken in his holines: therefore I will reioyce: I shall deuide Shechem, and measure the valley of Succoth.
7 Gilead en mara, Manase bende mara; Efraim en oguta mar lweny, to Juda en osimbona mar loch.
Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iudah is my lawgiuer.
8 Moab en besen mara mar luok, to Edom e kama amoe wuochena; Filistia ema akoke ka aseloyo lweny.”
Moab shalbe my wash pot: ouer Edom will I cast out my shoe: Palestina shew thy selfe ioyfull for me.
9 En ngʼa mabiro kela e dala maduongʼ mochiel motegno? Ngʼa mabiro telona nyaka Edom?
Who will leade me into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?
10 Donge in ema isedagiwa, yaye Nyasaye, kendo tinde ok idhi gi jolwenjwa e lweny?
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadest cast vs off, and didest not go forth, O God, with our armies?
11 Miwa kony mondo walo wasikwa, nikech kony mar dhano onge tich.
Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.
12 Wabiro loyo lweny ka Nyasaye nikodwa, kendo obiro nyono wasikwa piny.
Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall tread downe our enemies.
