< Zaburi 6 >
1 Kuom jatend wer. Miwero gi gig wer man-gi tondegi. Kaluwore gi sheminith. Zaburi Mar Daudi. Kik ikwera, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ka iyi owangʼ kata kum kik ikuma ka mirima omaki.
To the Chief Musician, with stringed Instruments upon the eighth. A Melody of David. O Yahweh! do not, in thine anger, correct me, nor, in thy wrath, chastise me.
2 Kecha, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nikech aol; changa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nikech chokena rama malit.
Show me favour, O Yahweh, for languishing am I: Heal me, O Yahweh, —for dismayed are my bones:
3 Chunya winjo malit. Nyaka karangʼo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nyaka karangʼo?
Yea, my soul, is dismayed greatly, Thou, then, O Yahweh—how long?
4 Lokri, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mondo iresa; resa nikech herani ma ok rum.
Return, O Yahweh, deliver my soul, Save me, for the sake of thy lovingkindness;
5 Onge ngʼama nyalo pari ka osetho. En ngʼa madi paki gi ei liel? (Sheol )
For, in death, is no remembrance of thee, —In hades, who shall give thanks unto thee? (Sheol )
6 Chur ma achurgo ojonya otieno duto abudo kitandana gi ywak, kendo pi wangʼa olwoko piendena.
I am weary with my sighing, I flood, through the whole night, my couch, —With my tears, I cause, my bed, to dissolve:
7 Wengena ool nikech lit ma an-go; ok ginen maber nikech wasika duto.
My face, is all sunken with sorrow, —it hath aged, because of all mine adversaries.
8 Ayiuru buta, un duto ji matimo richo, nikech Jehova Nyasaye osewinjo ywakna.
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity, for Yahweh hath heard the voice of my weeping:
9 Jehova Nyasaye osewinjo ywak mar kwayo kech; Jehova Nyasaye orwako lamo mara.
Yahweh, hath heard my supplication, Yahweh, will receive, my prayer.
10 Wasika duto wigi biro kuot kendo gibiro hum nono; gibiro dok chien apoya nono gi wichkuot.
Let all my foes, turn pale and be greatly dismayed, Again let them turn pale in a moment.
