1 Zaburi mar Asaf. Jal Manyalo Duto, Nyasaye ma en Jehova Nyasaye, wuoyo kendo luongo ji duto modak e piny mondo ochokrene kaachiel, chakre wuok chiengʼ nyaka podho chiengʼ.
A psalm of Asaph. The Lord, the Almighty God, speaks! He summons everyone on earth, from the east to the west.
2 Nyasaye rieny gie Sayun, dala ma berne longʼo chuth.
God shines out of Mount Zion, perfect in beauty.
3 Nyasachwa biro kendo ok obi lingʼ mach ni e nyime mawangʼo gik moko pep, kendo ahiti mager olwore.
Our God arrives, and does not stay quiet. Fire flames before him, burning everything up; a violent storm rages around him.
4 Oluongo joma odak e polo malo kaachiel gi joma odak e piny, mondo oyal joge:
He summons the heavens above and the earth to witness the judgment of his people.
5 “Choknauru joga maler, mane otimo koda singruok e yor misango.”
“Bring me those who trust in me—those who confirmed the agreement with me through sacrifice.”
6 Kendo polo hulo timne makare, nikech Nyasaye owuon e jangʼad bura. (Sela)
The heavens declare his decisions are right, for God himself is the judge. (Selah)
7 “Winjuru, yaye joga, mondo awuo kodu, yaye jo-Israel, chiknauru itu mondo atim neno ma akwedougo: An Nyasaye ma Nyasachu.
“My people, listen to what I have to say. I am bringing charges against you, Israel. I am God, your God!
8 Ok akweru nikech wach misengini mutimona, kata nikech misango miwangʼo pep, mosiko ka nitie e nyima.
I'm not complaining about your sacrifices or burnt offerings that you offer all the time.
9 Ok agomb rwath moro amora moa e kundeu kata diek moa e abilni magu,
I do not require bulls from your barns or goats from your pens,
10 nikech le moro amora manie bungu en mara, kaachiel gi jamni makwayo ewi gode gana achiel.
for I own all the animals of the forest, and the cattle on a thousand hills belong to me.
11 Angʼeyo nying winyo ka winyo manie wi gode, kendo gik mochwe duto manie pewe gin maga.
I know every bird of the mountains; all living things in the fields are mine.
12 Ka dine bed ni kech kaya to ok dak anyisu, nikech piny en mara, kaachiel gi gik moko duto manie iye.
If I were hungry, I wouldn't tell you, for the earth and everything in it are mine.
13 Uparo ni achamo ring rwedhi kata ni amadho remb diek?
Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?
14 Chiwuru misango mar goyo erokamano ni Nyasaye, chopuru singruok mau ne Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo,
Give an offering of thanks to God; keep the promises you made to the Most High,
15 kendo luongauru e kinde ma un e chandruok; to abiro resou e chandruokugo, eka ubiro miya duongʼ.”
and call on me when you're in trouble. I will rescue you, and you will thank me.”
16 Joma timbegi richo to Nyasaye wachonegi ni: “Ngʼa momiyou thuolo mar olo chikena kata mondo ukaw singruok maga kaka mau?
But to the wicked God says, “What's the point of mechanically repeating my laws or making empty promises about obeying the agreement?
17 Ere kaka dutim kamano to uchayo puonjna kendo udiro wechena katoku!
You hate my discipline, and you toss my words away, leaving them behind you.
18 Ka uneno jakuo to uriworu kode kendo uchodo mana kaka joma moko timo.
When you see people stealing, you admire them; you associate with adulterers.
19 Utiyo gi dhou kuom timo richo kendo lewu oikore ne wuond.
With your mouth you say evil things; you use your tongue to spread lies.
20 Usiko uwuoyo marach kuom joweteu kendo ukuotho koda ka oweteu mahie ma uago e ich achiel.
You sit there and speak against your brother, slandering your own mother's son.
21 Gigi duto usetimo ka an to alingʼ; useparo ni an bende achalo kodu. To koro akwerou kendo anyisou e wangʼu ni useketho kuom timo gigo duto.
I kept quiet when you did these things. You thought I was someone just like you. But now I confront you, and bring my charges against you.
22 “Paruru matut kuom wachni, un joma wigi wil gi Nyasaye, nono to abiro kidhou matindo tindo, maonge ngʼama diresu:
Think again, you people who dismiss God, or I will tear you apart, and no-one will be able to save you.
23 Ngʼat ma timona misango mar erokamano miya duongʼ mondo olos yo moriere tir, kendo anyise kaka warruok mar Nyasaye chalo.”
But those who give an offering of thanks honor me, and to those who follow the right I will show them the salvation of God.”
