< Zaburi 43 >

1 Ngʼadna bura makare, yaye Nyasaye, kendo chwaka e kind joma ok ongʼeyo Nyasaye; resa e lwet joma wuondore gi joma timbegi richo.
Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: from the deceitful and unjust man do thou deliver me.
2 In Nyasaye ma apondo kuome. Koro to ijwangʼa nangʼo? Angʼo momiyo nyaka asik ka akuyo, ka jawasigu sanda?
For thou art the God of my fortress: why hast thou abandoned me? why must I walk about grieved, under the oppression of the enemy?
3 Or lerni kod adierani, orgi mondo gitelna; yie mondo gikela nyaka godi maler, nyaka kama idakie.
Send thou thy light and thy truth, these shall guide me; they shall bring me unto thy holy mountain, and to thy dwellings:
4 Eka anadhi e kendo mar misango mar Nyasaye, nyaka achopi e nyim Nyasaye, Nyasaye ma kelona mor kendo ilo. Abiro paki gi nyatiti, yaye Nyasaye kendo Nyasacha.
That I may go unto the altar of God, unto God the joy of my gladness; and that I may thank thee upon the harp, O God, my God.
5 Angʼo momiyo ikuyo, yaye chunya? Angʼo momiyo inyosori, yaye chunya? Ket genoni kuom Nyasaye, nikech pod abiro pake, en e Jawarna kendo Nyasacha.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet thank him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.
