< Zaburi 42 >
1 Kuom jatend wer. Maskil mar yawuot Kora. Mana kaka mwanda gamo yweyo kamanyo kuonde ma pi nitie, e kaka chunya dwari, yaye Nyasaye.
To the Chief Musician. An Instructive Psalm for the Sons of Korah. As, the hart, cometh panting up to the channels of water, So my soul, panteth for thee, O God.
2 Chunya riyo oloyo mar dwaro Nyasaye. En riyo mar dwaro Nyasaye mangima. Abiro dhi romo kod Nyasaye karangʼo?
My soul thirsteth for God, for a GOD who liveth, —When shall I enter in, and see the face of God?
3 Aseywak mi pi wangʼa osechalo chiemba odiechiengʼ gotieno, ka ji to wachona odiechiengʼ duto niya, “Koro ere Nyasachino?”
My tears have been my food day and night, While it hath been said unto me all the day, Where is thy God?
4 Aparo gigi duto ka chunya opongʼ giywak: aparo kaka ne adhi gi oganda maduongʼ ka atelo ni ji madhi e od Nyasaye, Ka akok gimor kendo agoyo erokamano E dier oganda maduongʼ matimo nyasi gi mor.
These things, I keep calling to mind, and pouring out, over me, my own soul, For I used to cross over with a crowd, Lead them in procession up to the house of God, With the voice of shouting and praise.—a throng keeping festival.
5 Angʼo momiyo ikuyo, yaye chunya? Angʼo momiyo inyosori yaye chunya? Ket genoni kuom Nyasaye, nikech pod abiro pake, kaka Jawarna kendo Nyasacha.
Why shouldst thou be cast down, O my soul? And [why] shouldst thou moan over me? Wait thou for God, for yet shall I praise him, As the triumph of my presence.
6 Chunya lit; omiyo abiro pari, ka an e piny mar Jordan, gi kuonde motingʼore mar Hermon kod e got Mizar.
My God! over myself, my soul is cast down, —For this cause, will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, And the Hermons, from the hill Mizar.
7 Kut luongore gi kut ei abururu mar pi; apaka magi duto gi ahiti mager oseywera motera.
Roaring deep unto roaring deep, is calling, at the voice of thy cataracts, All thy breakers and thy rolling waves, over me, have passed.
8 Jehova Nyasaye chiko herane godiechiengʼ, to gotieno to wende ni e chunya; ma e lamo ma alamogo Nyasach ngimana.
By day, will Yahweh command his lovingkindness, And, in the night, shall His song be with me, My prayer be to the GOD of my life.
9 Awacho ni Nyasaye ma lwandana niya, “Angʼo momiyo wiyi osewil koda? Angʼo momiyo asiko gi kuyo ka jawasigu sanda?”
I will say onto GOD, —my rock, Wherefore hast thou forgotten me? Wherefore in gloom should I go, because of oppression by the enemy?
10 Chokena tho omako kendo rama malit seche ma joma kedo koda yanya kochaya, ka giwachona odiechiengʼ duto niya, “Koro ere Nyasachino?”
With a crushing of my bones, have my adversaries reproached me, —While they keep saying unto me all the day, Where is thy God?
11 Angʼo momiyo ikuyo, yaye chunya? Angʼo momiyo inyosori, yaye chunya? Ket genoni kuom Nyasaye, nikech pod abiro pake, en e Jawarna kendo Nyasacha.
Why shouldst thou be sat down, O my soul? And why shouldst thou moan over me? Wait thou for God, for yet shall I praise him, As the triumph of my presence and my God.
