1 Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi jatich Jehova Nyasaye. An-gi wach e chunya mowuok kuom Nyasaye, kuom gima joricho timo: Ok giluoro Nyasaye kata matin.
To the Chief Musician. Of the Servant of Yahweh—of David. Declareth the transgression of the lawless one, within my heart, There is, no dread of God, before his eyes;
2 Nikech chunye wuonde kendo owuondore kende, chunye wuonde ma ok onyal neno richone mosin-go.
For he flattereth himself [too much] in his own eyes, to find his iniquity—to hate [it].
3 Weche mawuok e dhoge richo kendo gin miriambo; oseweyo bedo mariek kod timo maber.
The words of his mouth, are iniquity and deceit, he hath left off to show discretion by doing well:
4 Kata konindo e kitandane, to ochano timo gima rach; oseketo chunye mar luwo yor richo, kendo ok otamre gima rach.
Iniquity, deviseth he upon his bed, —he taketh his stand in a way, not good, Wrong, doth he not abhor!
5 Herani ochopo nyaka e polo malo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; adierani chopo nyaka e polo,
O Yahweh! in the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, Thy faithfulness, as far as the fleecy clouds:
6 Timni makare chalo gi gode madongo, ratiro mari chalo gi kut matut. Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, in ema irito ngima dhano gi le.
Thy righteousness, is like mighty mountains, and, thy just decrees, are a great resounding deep, —Man and beast, thou savest, O Yahweh!
7 Mano kaka herani ma ok rum nengone tek, yaye Nyasaye! Joma idewo kaachiel gi joma ni piny yudo kar pondo margi e bwo tipo mar bwombeni.
How precious thy lovingkindness, O God, —Therefore, the sons of men, under the shadow of thy wings, seek refuge:
8 Gichamo chiemo mangʼeny e hekalu mari ka gimor; imiyogi math moa e aorani mar mor.
They abundantly relish the fatness of thy house, —And out of the full stream of thine own pleasures, thou givest them to drink.
9 Nimar in ema in gi soko mar pi mar ngima; kuom lerni ema wanenoe ler.
For, with thee, is the fountain of life, In thy light, we see light.
10 Med nyiso herani ni joma ongʼeyi, med nyiso timni makare ne joma gie chunygi ni kare.
Prolong thy lovingkindness unto them who know thee, —and thy righteousness, to the upright in heart.
11 Mad tiend joma sungore kik nyona, kata lwet joma timbegi richo gola kama antie.
Let not the foot of pride reach me, nor, the hand of the lawless, scare me away.
12 Neye kaka joma timo gik maricho oriere piny kopodho osedirgi piny ma ok ginyal aa malo!
There did the workers of iniquity fall, —thrust down and not able to rise!
