1 Weruru gimor ni Jehova Nyasaye, un joma kare; en gima owinjore mondo joma kare opake.
Rejoice in Adonai, you upright! Tehilah ·Praise song· is fitting for the upright.
2 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye gi nyatiti; werneuru wer mamit gi nyatiti.
Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai with the lyre. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him with the harp of ten strings.
3 Werneuru wer manyien; werneuru kugoyone nyiduonge kendo weruru gi ilo.
Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
4 Wach Jehova Nyasaye nikare kendo en adier; en ja-adiera e gik moko duto motimo.
For Adonai’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
5 Jehova Nyasaye ohero tim makare kod ratiro; piny duto opongʼ gi herane ma ok rem.
He 'ahav ·affectionately loves· righteousness and mishpat ·justice·. The earth is full of the cheshed ·loving-kindness· of Adonai.
6 Polo ne ochwe kuom wach Jehova Nyasaye, i dwe gi nyinyo duto nochweyo gi much dhoge.
By Adonai’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.
7 Ochoko pige mag nembe madongo e tawo; oketo kut e dere.
He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
8 Piny duto mondo oluor Jehova Nyasaye; ji duto manie e piny mondo okulrene.
Let all the earth fear Adonai. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 Nikech ne owuoyo mi piny nobetie, nogolo chik mi ochungʼ mongirore.
For he spoke, and it was done. He enjoined, and it stood firm.
10 Jehova Nyasaye ketho chenro duto mag pinje; othiro dwaro ma ogendini nigo.
Adonai brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
11 To chenro duto mag Jehova Nyasaye to siko kochungʼ nyaka chiengʼ; ochopo dwaro duto manie chunye e tienge duto.
The counsel of Adonai stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Piny ma ogeno Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasache ogwedhi, nikech gin oganda mane oyiero kaka girkeni mare.
Blessed is the nation whose God is Adonai, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
13 Jehova Nyasaye rango piny gie polo kendo oneno dhano duto;
Adonai looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
14 ongʼiyo ji duto modak e piny gie kar dakne e polo,
From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15 en ema ne ochweyo chunje ji duto, kendo onono gik moko duto ma gitimo.
he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.
16 Onge ruoth minyalo reso nikech en gi jolweny mangʼeny; bende onge jakedo manyalo tony nikech tekone ngʼeny.
There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17 Geno yudo resruok kuom faras en gima nono kata obedo ni en giteko mangʼeny to ok onyal reso ngʼato.
A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.
18 To wangʼ Jehova Nyasaye neno jogo momiye luor, orango joma geno margi ni kuom herane ma ok rem,
Behold, Adonai’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness;
19 mondo oresgi e tho kendo oritgi gibed mangima e ndalo mag kech.
to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.
20 Warito Jehova Nyasaye gi geno; en e konyruokwa kendo okumbawa.
Our soul has waited for Adonai. He is our help and our shield.
21 Chunywa mor kuome, nikech wageno kuom nyinge maler.
For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Mad herani ma ok rum osik kuomwa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mana kaka waketo genowa kuomi.
Let your loving kindness be on us, Adonai, since we have hoped in you.
