< Zaburi 32 >
1 Zaburi mar Daudi. Wer mower gi maskil. Ogwedh ngʼat ma kethone owene, kendo ma richone oseruchi.
A psalm of David. How happy are those whose wrongs are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
2 Ogwedh ngʼatno ma Jehova Nyasaye ok kwan-ne richone, kendo ma wuondruok onge e chunye.
How happy are those whose sins the Lord does not count against them, those who do not act deceptively.
3 Kane alingʼ to chokena ne ochiyore, kane achur odiechiengʼ duto ma ok aywe.
When I kept quiet, my body fell apart as I groaned in distress all day long.
4 Nikech odiechiengʼ gotieno lweti ne pek kuoma; tekrena ne oduono mana kaka timore e liet mar ndalo oro. (Sela)
You beat me day and night, my strength dried up as in the heat of summer. (Selah)
5 Eka ne ahulo richona kendo ne ok apando timbena mag ketho. Ne awacho niya, “Abiro hulo ketho chik maga ne Jehova Nyasaye.” Omiyo ne iweyona ketho mane richona okelo. (Sela)
Then I confessed my sins to you. I did not hide the wrongs I had done. I said to myself, “I will confess my disobedience to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sins. (Selah)
6 Kuom mano, owinjore ji duto moluoro Nyasaye olami kapod inyalo yudi; adier ka pige madongo otugore, to ok gibi chopo ire,
Therefore let all who are faithful pray to you while there's time, so when trouble comes in like a flood it will not overwhelm them.
7 In e kar pondona; ibiro rita e chandruok, kendo ibiro lwora gi wende mag loch. (Sela)
For you are my refuge, you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of salvation. (Selah)
8 Abiro chiki kendo abiro puonji e yo monego ilu; adier abiro ngʼadoni rieko kendo abiro rangi maber.
“I will instruct you, teaching you the way to follow. I will advise you, watching out for you.
9 Kik ichal gi farese kata gi punda, maonge gi rieko, manyaka chiki mana ka otwe dhoge kendo iywayo gi kamba, nono to ok gibi buti.
You mustn't be like a horse or a mule that doesn't know which way to go without a bit or a bridle. Otherwise they can't be controlled.”
10 Lit mochomo joma timbegi richo ngʼeny, to (hera) ma ok rum mar Jehova Nyasaye, olworo ngʼat mogeno kuome.
The wicked have many problems, but those who trust in the Lord will be surrounded by his never-failing love.
11 Beduru moil kuom Jehova Nyasaye, kendo beduru mamor, un joma kare; weruru, un duto ma urieru tir gie chunyu!
So be happy in the Lord and celebrate, you who do good. Shout for joy, all you who live right!
