1 Zaburi mar Daudi. In ema aluongi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye Lwandana; kik itamri winjo ywakna. Nikech ka isiko ilingʼ alingʼa, to abiro chalo gi joma osedhi e bur.
Yahweh, I call out to you; [you are like an overhanging] rock [under which I can hide]. Do not refuse to answer me, because if you are silent, I will soon be with those who are in their graves.
2 Winj ywakna mondo ikecha e sa ma aluongi mondo ikonya, e sa ma atingʼo bedena malo kochomo Kari Maler Moloyo.
Listen to me when I call out for you [to help me], when I pray, lifting up my hands as I face your sacred temple.
3 Kik iywaya oko gi joricho, kod joma timo gik maricho, joma wuoyo gi jowetegi maber to opando sigu e chunygi.
Do not drag me away with wicked people, with those who do wicked deeds, with those who pretend [to act] peacefully toward others while in their inner beings, they hate them.
4 Chulgi kuom timbegi maricho kendo kuom tijegi maricho; chulgi kuom gik ma lwetgi osetimo kendo dwok kuomgi gik mowinjore gi timbegi.
Punish those people in the way that they deserve for what they have done; punish them for their evil deeds [DOU].
5 Nikech ok gidew tije mag Jehova Nyasaye kod gik ma lwetene osetimo, obiro mukogi mi ogogi piny kendo ok nochak ogergi mi gichungʼ kendo.
Yahweh, they do not pay attention to the [wonderful] things that you have done and that you have created; so get rid of them permanently and do not let them appear again!
6 Opak Jehova Nyasaye nikech osewinjo ywakna ma akwayogo kony.
Praise Yahweh because he has heard me when I called out for him to help me!
7 Jehova Nyasaye e tekona kendo okumbana; chunya ogeno kuome kendo en e konyruokna. Chunya nigi mor kendo abiro goyone erokamano gi wer.
Yahweh makes me strong and [protects] me [like a shield] [MET]; I trusted in him, and he helped me. I was glad, and from my inner being I praised him as I sang to him.
8 Jehova Nyasaye e teko mar joge, en e ohinga mar resruok ni joge moyiero.
Yahweh causes us to be strong and protects us; and he saves me, the one he appointed [MTY] to be king.
9 Res jogi kendo gwedh jogi moyier bed Jakwadh jogi kendo telnegi nyaka chiengʼ.
Yahweh, save/rescue your people; bless those who belong to you. [Take care of them like] a shepherd [takes care of his sheep] [MET]; take care of them forever.
