< Zaburi 27 >

1 Zaburi mar Daudi. Jehova Nyasaye e lerna kendo e warruokna; en ngʼa ma daluor? Jehova Nyasaye e kama ngimana opondoe. En ngʼa ma dibwoga?
By David. Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 Ka joma richo lawa mondo oketh ngimana, ka wasika kod joma kedo koda monja, to gibiro kier mi gipodhi.
When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
3 Kata ka jolweny ogoyona agengʼa koni gi koni, to chunya ok bi luor; kata ka lweny otugorena, to pod abiro mana bedo gi chir.
Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
4 Gimoro achiel kende ema akwayo Jehova Nyasaye, ma e gima adwaro moloyo; ni mondo adag e od Jehova Nyasaye ndalo duto mag ngimana, mondo achom wangʼa kuom ber mar Jehova Nyasaye kendo amanye e hekalu mare.
One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.
5 Nikech chiengʼ ma chandruok omaka obiro panda maber e kar dakne; obiro panda e kar pondo mar hembe maler kendo obiro keta malo ewi lwanda.
For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
6 Eka abiro bedo jaloch ka aloyo wasigu duto molwora; abiro timo misango mar pak ka akok gimor e hembe maler. Abiro wer kendo abiro loso wende mamit ne Jehova Nyasaye.
Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.
7 Winj dwonda ka aluongo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; kecha kendo idwoka.
Hear, Yahweh, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.
8 Chunya wuoyo kuomi kawacho niya, “Many wangʼ Nyasaye ka ilemo!” Wangʼi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ema abiro manyo.
When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, Yahweh.”
9 Kik ipandna wangʼi, kik iriemb jatichni ka mirima omaki, in ema isebedo jakonyna. Kik ikweda bende kik ijwangʼa, yaye Nyasaye Jawarna.
Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.
10 Kata obedo ni wuonwa gi minwa ojwangʼa to Jehova Nyasaye biro rwaka.
When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up.
11 Puonja yoreni, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; telna e yo moriere tir, nikech joma sanda.
Teach me your way, Yahweh. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.
12 Kik ijwangʼa ne dwach wasika, nikech joneno mag miriambo oramona matek, ka gichano mar hinya.
Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.
13 To an gi ratiro kuom wachni: ni pod abiro neno ber Jehova Nyasaye, e piny joma ngima.
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.
14 Gen kuom Jehova Nyasaye; bed motegno ka in gi chir, kendo rit kuom Jehova Nyasaye.
Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
