< Zaburi 23 >

1 Zaburi mar Daudi. Jehova Nyasaye e jakwadha, ok anachand gimoro.
A Melody of David. Yahweh, is my shepherd—I shall not want:
2 Omiyo ayweyo e lum mangʼich, otelona e aore mokwe,
In pastures of tender grass, he maketh me lie down, Unto restful waters, he leadeth me;
3 odwogo chunya. Otaya e yore mag tim makare mondo nyinge oyud duongʼ.
My life, he restoreth, He guideth me in right paths, for the sake of his Name.
4 Kata ka obedo ni awuotho e hoho mar tipo mar tho, to ok analuor gimoro marach, nimar in koda; ludhi gi odungani ema hoya.
Yea, though I walk through a valley death-shadowed, I will fear no harm, for, thou, art with me, Thy rod and thy staff, they, comfort me.
5 Iloso mesa e nyima ka wasika neno. Iwiro wiya gi mo; kikombena opongʼ moo oko.
Thou spreadest before me a table, in face of mine adversaries, Thou hast anointed, with oil, my head, My cup, hath run over.
6 Adier, ber gihera biro luwa ndalo duto mag ngimana, kendo abiro dak e od Jehova Nyasaye nyaka chiengʼ.
Surely, goodness and lovingkindness, will pursue me, all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of Yahweh, evermore.
