1 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye! Pakuru Nyasaye e kare maler mar lemo; pakeuru ei polo mare mar nyalo.

Praise Yahweh! Praise God in his sacred temple! And praise him in his fortress in heaven!

2 Pakeuru nikech tijene mosetimo kuom tekone maduongʼ; kendo nikech duongʼne moyombo duto.

Praise him for the mighty deeds that he has performed; praise him for his being extremely great!

3 Pakeuru kugoyo turumbete, kendo kugoyo nyatiti gi asili,

Praise him by [blowing] trumpets loudly; praise him by [playing] harps and (small lyres/other instruments that have many strings)!

4 pakeuru kugoyo oyieke kendo umiel, ee, pakeuru gi gita kod oporo,

Praise him by [beating] drums and by dancing. Praise him by [playing] stringed instruments and by [playing] flutes!

5 pakeuru kudiemo ongengʼo gi nyawadgi, ee, pakeuru ka ongengʼo gore.

Praise him by [clashing] cymbals together; praise him by clashing [together very] loud cymbals!

6 Gimoro amora mayweyo mondo opak Jehova Nyasaye. Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye.

I want all living creatures to praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh!
