1 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye! Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye gie polo, ee, pakeuru gi malo kuma bor.
Praise Yahweh! Praise him, from up in heaven; praise him from way up in the sky!
2 Pakeuru, un malaikane duto, pakeuru, un jopolo duto.
All you angels who belong to him, praise him! All you who are in the armies of heaven, praise him!
3 Wangʼ chiengʼ gi dwe bende opake, kaachiel gi sulwe duto marieny.
Sun and moon, [you also] praise him! You shining stars, you praise him!
4 Un polo man malo mogik, pakeuru, kaachiel gi un, pige manie bwo polo.
You highest heavens, praise him! And you waters that are high above the sky, praise him!
5 Onego gipak nying Jehova Nyasaye kargi duto nimar nogolo chik mine gibetie.
I want [all of] these to praise Yahweh [MTY] because by commanding [them to exist], he created them.
6 Ne ogurogi kuondegi nyaka chiengʼ kendo nyaka chiengʼ kaluwore gi chikne mochwere.
He determined the places where they should be [in the sky], and he commanded that they should be there forever. They cannot disobey that command!
7 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye gie piny, un gik madongo mag nam kod kude matut duto mag ataro,
And everything on the earth, praise Yahweh! You [huge] sea monsters and [everything else that is] deep [in the ocean],
8 kaachiel gi mil polo gi pe gi theluji gi boche, kod yembe maringo matek mawinjo wachne;
and fire and hail, and snow and frost, and strong winds that obey what he commands, [I tell] all of you to praise Yahweh!
9 kod un gode gi thuche gi yiende manyago olembe gi yiende mag sida duto;
Hills and mountains, fruit trees and cedar [trees],
10 kod le mager gi jamni duto gi le matindo gi winy mafuyo,
all the wild animals and all [you] cattle, and the (reptiles/creatures that scurry across the ground), and [all] the birds, [I tell all of them to praise Yahweh]!
11 kod ruodhi mag piny gi ogendini duto; kod un jotelo gi joloch duto mag piny,
You kings on this earth and all the people [that you rule], you princes and all [other] rulers,
12 kod un yawuowi matindo gi nyiri matindo, gi jodongo kod nyithindo.
you young men and young women, you old people and children, [everyone, praise Yahweh!]
13 Onego gipak nying Jehova Nyasaye gin duto, nimar nyinge kende ema nigi duongʼ; kendo duongʼne maler oyombo piny gi polo.
I want them [all] to praise Yahweh [MTY] because he is greater than anyone else. His glory is greater than [anything on] the earth or [in] heaven.
14 Osechungo tung ne joge, tung mosekelo pak ne joge maler duto, joge ma jo-Israel, ma gin joma ni machiegni gi chunye. Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye!
He caused us, his people, to be strong in order that we, his people, we Israeli people (who are very precious to him/whom he loves very much), would praise him. So praise Yahweh!
