< Zaburi 139 >
1 Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, isenona kendo ingʼeya.
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] LORD, you have searched me, and you know me.
2 Ingʼeya sa ma abet piny nyaka sa ma aa malo; adier, ingʼeyo parona gi kuma bor.
You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 Bende ingʼeyo yorega ma aluwo kod kuonde ma ayweyoe; yorena duto oyangoreni maber.
You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Kata kapok wach moro owuok e dhoga to ingʼeye malongʼo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye.
For there is not a word on my tongue, but, look, LORD, you know it altogether.
5 Ilwora koni gi koni mi iketa diere; adier, iseuma duto gi lweti.
You encircle me behind and in front, and you place your hand upon me.
6 Rieko ma kamano lichna miwuoro, kendo otutna moyombo pacha.
This knowledge is beyond me. It's lofty. I can't attain it.
7 Dadhi kure eka apond ne Roho mari? Koso kanye ma daring adhiye mondo apondni?
Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?
8 Ka aidho e polo, to in kuno; ka aloso kitandana e bur matut, to in kuno. (Sheol )
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, look, you are there. (Sheol )
9 Ka aidho yamb kogwen mondo otera e tok nam komachielo,
If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 to kata kuno bende lweti biro telonae, kendo lweti ma korachwich biro maka motegno.
Even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.
11 Ka awacho niya, “Mudho biro ima adier kendo ler biro lokorena otieno,”
If I say, "Surely the darkness will overwhelm me; the light around me will be night;"
12 to in mudho ok timni mudho kendo otieno rienyni ka odiechiengʼ, nimar mudho chaloni ler.
even the darkness doesn't hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.
13 In ema ne ichweyo dhanda maiye, adier, ne ingʼina maber gi ei minwa.
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 Apaki nikech ne ichweya mongʼith kendo malich miwuoro; tijeni misetimo lich, kendo angʼeyo mano maber.
I will give thanks to you, for I am awesomely and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows that very well.
15 Fuonde mag ringra ne ok opondoni, kane ochweya ei minwa, kane ochwe ringra e kama opondo,
My frame wasn't hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 wangʼi ne oneno ringra ei minwa; ndalona duto e piny-ka ne ondiki chon gi lala, e kitabu mari kane pok kata achiel kuomgi obetie.
Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
17 Mano kaka pachi tutna, yaye Nyasaye! Mano kaka gingʼeny mokalo akwana kargi duto!
How precious to me are your thoughts, God. How vast is the sum of them.
18 Ka dine bed ni anyalo kwanogi, to dine giloyo kuoyo gi ngʼeny. Sa ma achiew to ayudo ni pod an mana kodi.
If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
19 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mad iyie ineg joma timbegi richo! Ayiuru buta, un joma rich chwero remb ji omakogi!
If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men.
20 Giwuoyo kuomi gi paro marach; adier, wasiki tiyo gi nyingi e yo marach.
For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.
21 Donge amon gi jomamon kodi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, koso donge ok awinjra gi joma chungʼ mondo oked kodi?
LORD, do I not hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?
22 Achayogi kendo aonge kodgi gi tich adier akwanogi kaka wasika.
I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.
23 Nona, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mondo ingʼe chunya; tema, mondo ingʼe pacha.
Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.
24 Tim kamano mondo ineane ka nitie gimoro marach kuoma, mondo itera e yor ngima mochwere.
See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.
