< Zaburi 131 >

1 Wer ma ji wero kadhi e hekalu. Mar Daudi. Ngʼayi onge e chunya, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, wangʼa bende ok tek; chunya ok chandre gi gik madongo, kata gi weche matek modhiera ngʼeyo.
Yahweh, I am not proud and I have not thought highly about (myself/the things that I have done). And I do not concern myself about things [that you have done] that are very big or very wonderful.
2 To abet mos kendo chunya okwe; mana ka nyathi ma pod dhoth molingʼ mos e bad min, ee, kaka nyathi ma kamano lingʼ mos, e kaka chunya bende olingʼ mos e iya.
Instead, I am calm and peaceful, like a [small] child who lies quietly in its mother’s arms [SIM]. In the same way, I am peaceful.
3 Yaye Israel, keturu genou kuom Jehova Nyasaye chakre tinende kendo nyaka chiengʼ.
You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will do good things for you], now and forever!
