1 Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Nyaka karangʼo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye? Wiyi biro wil koda nyaka chiengʼ koso? Ibiro pandona wangʼi nyaka karangʼo?
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 Abiro dhi nyime ka an gi pek manie pacha kod kuyo manie chunya odiechiengʼ kodiechiengʼ nyaka karangʼo? Wasika biro locho kuoma nyaka karangʼo?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
3 Para kendo idwoka, yaye Jehova Nyasaye Nyasacha. Chiw ler ne wengena, nono to dipo ka nindo otera mi atho;
Look, and answer me, LORD, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
4 nikech mano nyalo miyo jasika wach niya, “Aseloye,” kendo wasika biro bedo mamor ka apodho.
Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him," and my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
5 Anto ageno kuom herani mosiko; chunya oil kuom warruok mari.
But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 Abiro wer ne Jehova Nyasaye, nikech osebedo ka otimona maber.
I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing to the name of the LORD Most High.
