< Zaburi 126 >

1 Wer ma ji wero kadhi e hekalu. Kane Jehova Nyasaye odwogo joma otwe Sayun, to ne ochalonwa mana lek.
A song of ascents. When the Lord turned the fortunes of Zion, we were like dreamers.
2 Ne wathungʼ gi nyiero kendo dhowa nopongʼ gi wende mor. Eka nowachore e dier ogendini niya, “Jehova Nyasaye osetimonegi gik madongo.”
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, our tongue with glad shouts; then among the nations they said, ‘The Lord has dealt greatly with them.’
3 Adier, Jehova Nyasaye osetimonwa gik madongo, omiyo wamor mokalo.
The Lord had dealt greatly with us, and we were rejoicing.
4 Duognwa gigewa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mondo wachal gi aore man Negev.
Turn our fortunes, O Lord, as the streams in the Negreb.
5 Joma komo kodhi kaywak biro keyo ka wero wende mor.
They who sow in tears shall reap with glad shouts.
6 Ngʼat madhi oko kaywak, kotingʼo kodhi mikomo, biro duogo ka wero wende mor, kotingʼo cham mosechiek.
Forth they fare, with their burden of seed, and they weep as they go. But home, home, with glad shouts they shall come with their arms full of sheaves.
