1 Wer ma ji wero kadhi e hekalu. Joma ogeno kuom Jehova Nyasaye chalo gi Got Sayun, ma ok nyal yiengi to osiko nyaka chiengʼ.

A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. Those trusting in YHWH [are] as Mount Zion, It is not moved—it abides for all time.

2 Mana kaka gode olworo Jerusalem, e kaka Jehova Nyasaye olworo joge chakre, tinende kendo nyaka chiengʼ.

Jerusalem! Mountains [are] around her, And YHWH [is] around His people, From now on—even for all time.

3 Ludh loch mar joma timbegi richo ok bi siko korito piny mopog ne joma kare, nimar ka mano otimore to joma kare nyalo tiyo gi lwetgi kuom timo marach.

For the rod of wickedness does not rest on the lot of the righteous, That the righteous do not put forth their hands on iniquity.

4 Tim maber, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kendo ni jogo moriere gie chunygi.

Do good, O YHWH, to the good, And to the upright in their hearts.

5 To joma lokore luwo yore mobam Jehova Nyasaye biro kumo kaachiel gi joma timo timbe maricho. Israel mondo obed gi kwe.

As for those turning [to] their crooked ways, YHWH causes them to go with workers of iniquity. Peace on Israel!
