1 Kuom jatend wer. Kaluwore gi sheminith. Zaburi mar Daudi. Kony ji yaye Jehova Nyasaye, nikech joma oluoro Nyasaye koro onge; joma jo-adiera oserumo e dier ji.
For the Chief Musician; upon an eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm of David. Help, LORD; for the godly man ceases. For the faithful fail from amongst the children of men.
2 Ngʼato ka ngʼato riambo ne nyawadgi; dhogi mohero jaro ji wuoyo gi wuond.
Everyone lies to his neighbour. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.
3 Mad Jehova Nyasaye ongʼad oko lep duto ma jaro ji kod lep duto masungore;
May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that boasts,
4 mawacho niya, “Wabiro wuoyo kaka wahero; kendo onge ngʼama biro tamowa. Koso en ngʼa ma ruodhwa manyalo tamowa timo kamano?”
who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”
5 “Nikech dich modigo joma ok nyal kod chur ma joma ochando churgo, koro abiro aa malo,” Jehova Nyasaye owacho. “Abiro ritogi e lwet joma sandogi.”
“Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”
6 Weche Jehova Nyasaye liw, giliw ka fedha moleny e lowo mowangʼ maliet ha, mopwodhi ndalo abiriyo.
The LORD’s words are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.
7 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, yie iritwa maber kik gimoro ohinywa kendo reswa e lwet joma kamago nyaka chiengʼ.
You will keep them, LORD. You will preserve them from this generation forever.
8 Joma timbegi richo wuotho koni gi koni kendo gima rach ema ji puoyo.
The wicked walk on every side, when what is vile is exalted amongst the sons of men.
