1 Ahero Jehova Nyasaye nikech nowinjo kwayona; nowinjo ywakna kane adwaro kech.
I love Yahweh—because he heareth my voice, my supplications;
2 Nikech ne ochikona ite, abiro luonge kinde duto ma angima.
Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.
The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol h7585)
4 Eka naluongo nying Jehova Nyasaye, ne aywakne niya, “Resa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye!”
But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called—I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.

Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.

I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.
11 Kendo kane achiedh-nade omaka, to ne awacho niya, “Dhano duto riambo.”
I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!
12 Ere kaka dachul Jehova Nyasaye kuom berne duto mosetimona?
How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?
13 Abiro tingʼo okumba mar warruok malo kendo abiro luongo nying Jehova Nyasaye.
The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
14 Abiro chopo singruokga ma asetimo ne Jehova Nyasaye e nyim ji duto.
My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!
15 Tho mar nyithind Nyasaye en gima ber miwuoro e nyim Jehova Nyasaye.
Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.
16 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, an jatichni adier; an jatichni, ma wuod jatichni ma nyako; isegonya mi igola e nyorochena.
I beseech thee, O Yahweh—for, I, am thy servant, —I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.
17 Abiro timoni misango mar erokamano kendo abiro luongo nying Jehova Nyasaye.
To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
18 Abiro chopo singruokga ma asetimo ne Jehova Nyasaye e nyim ji duto,
My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people; —
19 abiro chopogi e lache mag od Jehova Nyasaye abiro timogi e iyi, yaye Jerusalem. Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye!
In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
