< Zaburi 106 >

1 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye! Gouru erokamano ne Jehova Nyasaye, nikech ober; kendo herane osiko manyaka chiengʼ.
Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
2 En ngʼa manyalo hulo gik madongo ma Jehova Nyasaye osetimo kata manyalo nyiso pakne duto?
Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? [who] can show forth all his praise?
3 Ogwedh joma osiko koluwo adiera, joma osiko katimo gima kare.
Blessed [are] they that keep judgment, [and] he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4 An bende parae, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, parae ka itimo ngʼwono ne jogi, bi ikonya ka iresogi,
Remember me, O LORD, with the favor [that thou bearest to] thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5 mondo an bende awinjie maber gi mwandu mimiyo jogi miyiero, mondo ayudie mor mar ogandani, kendo amiyi duongʼ kaachiel gi girkeni mari.
That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thy inheritance.
6 Wasetimo richo mana kaka kwerewa bende notimo; wasetimo marach kendo wasetimo gik mamono.
We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7 Kane kwerewa ni Misri, ne ok giparo matut kuom honni magi; bende ne wigi owil gi kechni mathoth, ne gingʼanyoni e dho nam, ma en Nam Makwar.
Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked [him] at the sea, [even] at the Red sea.
8 Kata kamano noresogi nikech nyinge, mondo omi tekone maduongʼ ongʼere.
Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9 Nokwero Nam Makwar, mi Nam Makwar notwo; kendo nomiyo gikalo kama tut mana ka gima ne giwuotho kama otwo.
He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10 Noresogi e lwet joma ne kedo kodgi, adier, nowarogi e lwet wasigu.
And he saved them from the hand of him that hated [them], and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 Pi noimo wasikgi; ma kata achiel kuomgi ne ok otony.
And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12 Eka ne giyie gi singruok mage kendo ne gipake gi wer.
Then they believed his words; they sang his praise.
13 To ma ok wigi nowil gi gik mane osetimo kendo ne ok girite mondo ongʼadnegi rieko.
They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14 Wuoro mokalo tongʼ nomakogi e thim, kendo ne gitemo Nyasaye e piny motwo.
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15 Omiyo ne omiyogi gima negidwaro, to kata kamano nooronegi tuo machiyo del.
And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16 Nyiego nomakogi gi Musa e kambi, kendo gi Harun, jatich mowal ni Jehova Nyasaye.
They envied Moses also in the camp, [and] Aaron the saint of the LORD.
17 Piny ne oyawore mi nomwonyo Dathan; piny noiko oganda joka Abiram.
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18 Mach nomuoch kuom joma luwogi; mach maliel mager nowangʼo joma timbegi richogo motiekogi pep.
And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19 Negiloso nyaroya Horeb, mine gilamo kido molos gi chuma.
They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped the molten image.
20 Ne giwilo Duongʼ margi gi kido mar rwath machamo lum.
Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21 Wigi nowil gi Nyasaye mane oresogi, Nyasaye mane osetimo gik madongo e piny Misri,
They forgot God their savior, who had done great things in Egypt;
22 Nyasaye mane osetimo honni e piny Ham kod timbe miwuoro e dho Nam Makwar.
Wondrous works in the land of Ham, [and] terrible things by the Red sea.
23 Emomiyo nowacho ni nobiro tiekogi ka dine Musa, ngʼate moyiero, we chungʼ kaywagore e nyime mondo ogengʼ mirimbe kik otiekgi.
Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy [them].
24 Bangʼe ne gichayo pinye ma jaber; nikech ne ok giyie singruokne ni en adier.
Yes, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25 Ne gingʼur ei hembegi kendo ne ok gitimo gik ma Jehova Nyasaye nochikogi.
But murmured in their tents, [and] hearkened not to the voice of the LORD.
26 Emomiyo ne osingorenegi kosiemogi gi lwete nine obiro miyo gipodhi e thim,
Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27 nonyisogi ni ne obiro miyo nyikwagi podhi e kind ogendini, kendo ni ne obiro keyogi e pinje duto.
To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28 Ne giriwore kaachiel e lamo Baal mar jo-Peor, kendo negichamo misango michiwone nyiseche motho;
They joined themselves also to Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 omiyo ne giwangʼo i Jehova Nyasaye gi timbegi marichogo, mi masira nomakogi.
Thus they provoked [him] to anger with their inventions: and the plague broke in upon them.
30 Kata kamano Finehas nochungʼ kargi kendo noywagore ne Nyasaye, mi masirano ne ok otiekogi.
Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and [so] the plague was stayed.
31 Nyasaye nokwane kaka ngʼama kare nikech timneno, kendo ibiro kwane kamano nyaka tienge mabiro.
And that was counted to him for righteousness to all generations for ever.
32 Ne giwangʼo i Jehova Nyasaye, e dho sokni mag Meriba, mi timgino nokelone Musa chandruok;
They angered [him] also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33 nimar negiketho chunye mi weche maricho nowuok e dhoge.
Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke unadvisedly with his lips.
34 Ne ok gitieko ogendini chutho kaka Jehova Nyasaye nosechikogi,
They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
35 to ne giriwore kodgi kendo negiluwo timbegi.
But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36 Negilamo kido mag nyisechegi, ma bangʼe nolokorenegi obadho.
And they served their idols: which were a snare to them.
37 Negichiwo yawuotgi gi nyigi kaka misango, kendo negichiwogi ne jochiende.
Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons,
38 Ne gichwero remo maonge ketho, remb yawuotgi gi nyigi, mane gichiwo kaka misango ne kido mag nyiseche mag Kanaan, mi piny nogak nikech rembgi.
And shed innocent blood, [even] the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Negidoko mogak nikech gik mane gitimo; negibedo joma odwanyore, nikech timbegigo.
Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went astray with their own inventions.
40 Emomiyo Jehova Nyasaye nokecho gi joge kendo chunye noa kuom girkeni mare.
Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41 Nochiwogi e lwet ogendini, mine gibet e bwo loch joma ne mon kodgi.
And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42 Wasikgi nothirogi kendo negiketogi e bwo tekogi.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43 Ne oresogi nyadi mangʼeny to kata kamano joge noketo chunygi ne ngʼanyo, mi richogi nochiwogi mi girumo.
Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked [him] with their counsel; and were brought low for their iniquity.
44 Kata kamano nokechogi e chandruokgi kane owinjo ywakgi;
Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45 nikech noparo singruok mane otimo kodgi kendo noloko chunye nikech herane maduongʼ.
And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46 Nochuno ji duto mane oketogi wasumbini mondo okechgi.
He made them also to be pitied by all those that carried them captives.
47 Reswa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachwa, kendo chokwa igolwa e dier ogendini, mondo wadwok erokamano ne nyingi maler kendo wabed mamor kwapaki.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks to thy holy name, [and] to triumph in thy praise.
48 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasach Israel, mochwere manyaka chiengʼ. Ji duto mondo owach niya, “Amin!” Opak Jehova Nyasaye.
Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
