< Ngeche 10 >

1 Ngeche mag Solomon: Wuowi mariek kelo mor ni wuon mare, to wuowi mofuwo miyo min mare chuny lit.
The parablis of Salomon. A wijs sone makith glad the fadir; but a fonned sone is the sorewe of his modir.
2 Mwandu moyudi e yo marach onge gi ohala; to tim makare reso ji e tho.
Tresouris of wickidnesse schulen not profite; but riytfulnesse schal delyuere fro deth.
3 Jehova Nyasaye ok we ngʼat makare obed gi kech, to oketho gombo mar joricho.
The Lord schal not turmente the soule of a iust man with hungur; and he schal distrie the tresouns of vnpitouse men.
4 Lwedo manyap miyo ngʼato bedo jachan, to lwedo ma jakinda kelo mwandu.
A slow hond hath wrouyt nedynesse; but the hond of stronge men makith redi richessis. Forsothe he that enforsith to gete `ony thing bi leesyngis, fedith the wyndis; sotheli the same man sueth briddis fleynge.
5 Ngʼat makayo cham e kinde oro en wuowi mariek, to ngʼat ma nindo kinde keyo en wuowi makwodo wich.
He that gaderith togidere in heruest, is a wijs sone; but he that slepith in sommer, is a sone of confusioun.
6 Gweth sidho kondo mar loch ewi ngʼat makare, to timbe mahundu opongʼ e dho ngʼat marach.
The blessing of God is ouer the heed of a iust man; but wickidnesse hilith the mouth of wickid men.
7 Paro miparogo ngʼat makare nobed gweth, to nying ngʼat marach nolal.
The mynde of a iust man schal be with preisingis; and the name of wickid men schal wexe rotun.
8 Ngʼat mariek e chunye rwako chike, to ngʼat mofuwo ma wachne ngʼeny dhi e kethruok.
A wijs man schal resseyue comaundementis with herte; a fool is betun with lippis.
9 Ngʼat mobidhore wuotho kaonge luoro, to ngʼatno maluwo yore mobam ibiro yudo mapiyo.
He that goith simpli, goith tristili; but he that makith schrewid hise weies, schal be opyn.
10 Ngʼat madiemo wangʼe giwuond kelo kuyo, to ngʼat mofuwo ma wachne ngʼeny dhi e kethruok.
He that bekeneth with the iye, schal yyue sorewe; a fool schal be betun with lippis.
11 Dho ngʼat makare en soko mar ngima, to timbe mahundu opongʼo dho ngʼat marach.
The veyne of lijf is the mouth of a iust man; but the mouth of wickid men hilith wickidnesse.
12 Sigu kelo miero, to hera umo maricho duto.
Hatrede reisith chidingis; and charite hilith alle synnes.
13 Rieko iyudo e dho jogo mongʼeyo tiend wach, to luth en mar ngʼe ngʼatno maonge gi rieko mar ngʼado bura.
Wisdom is foundun in the lippis of a wise man; and a yerd in the bak of him that is nedi of herte.
14 Joma riek okano ngʼeyo, to dho joma ofuwo kelo kethruok.
Wise men hiden kunnyng; but the mouth of a fool is nexte to confusioun.
15 Mwandu mar jomoko e ohinga mochiel motegno ma gigengʼorego, to dhier e kethruok mar jochan.
The catel of a riche man is the citee of his strengthe; the drede of pore men is the nedynesse of hem.
16 Pok joma kare kelonegi ngima, to mwandu ma joricho yudo kelonegi kum.
The werk of a iust man is to lijf; but the fruyt of a wickid man is to synne.
17 Ngʼat mawinjo weche mirieyego wuotho e yo madhiyo e ngima, to ngʼat motamore kethone tero ji mamoko e yor lal.
The weie of lijf is to him that kepith chastising; but he that forsakith blamyngis, errith.
18 Ngʼatno mapando sigu manie chunye, dhoge nigi miriambo, to ngʼatno ma jakwoth ofuwo.
False lippis hiden hatrede; he that bringith forth dispisinge is vnwijs.
19 Ka weche ngʼeny, to richo ok nyal bare ma ok obetie, to ngʼat marito lewe oriek.
Synne schal not faile in myche spekyng; but he that mesurith hise lippis, is moost prudent.
20 Lew ngʼat makare en fedha mowal, to chuny ngʼat marach nigi ohala matin.
Chosun siluer is the tunge of a iust man; the herte of wickid men is for nouyt.
21 Dho ngʼat makare konyo ji mangʼeny, to ngʼat mofuwo tho nikech rem mar ngʼeyo ngʼado bura.
The lippis of a iust man techen ful manye men; but thei that ben vnlerned, schulen die in nedinesse of herte.
22 Gweth mar Jehova Nyasaye kelo mwandu, kendo ok omed chandruok kuome.
The blessing of the Lord makith riche men; and turment schal not be felowschipid to hem.
23 Ngʼat mofuwo yudo mor e timbe maricho, to ngʼat man-gi winjo bedo mamor kuom rieko.
A fool worchith wickidnesse as bi leiyyng; but `wisdom is prudence to a man.
24 Gima ngʼat marach oluoro biro loye; to gima ngʼat makare dwaro ibiro miye.
That that a wickid man dredith, schal come on hym; the desire of iust men schalbe youun to hem.
25 Ka auka mager ofuto, to joricho otieko; to joma kare chungo motegno nyaka chiengʼ.
As a tempeste passynge, a wickid man schal not be; but a iust man schal be as an euerlastynge foundement.
26 Mana kaka kong awayo machamo lak kendo ka iro malungo wenge, e kaka jasamuoyo ni jogo moore.
As vynegre noieth the teeth, and smoke noieth the iyen; so a slow man noieth hem that senten hym in the weie.
27 Luoro Jehova Nyasaye miyo idak amingʼa, to higni mar ngʼat marach ingʼado bedo machwok.
The drede of the Lord encreesith daies; and the yeeris of wickid men schulen be maad schort.
28 Geno mar joma kare en mor, to geno mar joricho nolal nono.
Abiding of iust men is gladnesse; but the hope of wickid men schal perische.
29 Yor Jehova Nyasaye e kar pondo ni joma kare, to en kethruok ni jogo matimo richo.
The strengthe of a symple man is the weie of the Lord; and drede to hem that worchen yuel.
30 Joma kare ok nopudh ngangʼ, to joricho ok nodongʼ e piny.
A iust man schal not be moued with outen ende; but wickid men schulen not dwelle on the erthe.
31 Dho joma kare kelo rieko, to lep mar richo nongʼad oko.
The mouth of a iust man schal bringe forth wisdom; the tunge of schrewis schal perische.
32 Lew joma kare ongʼeyo gima owinjore, to dho joricho wacho mana gik mochido.
The lippis of a iust man biholden pleasaunt thingis; and the mouth of wickid men byholdith weiward thingis.
