1 An Paulo gi Timotheo ma wasumb Kristo Yesu, Wandikonu un jomaler duto mag Kristo Yesu man Filipi, kaachiel gi jokwadh jo-Kristo duto gi jokonygi:
PAULOS and Timotheus, servants of Jeshu the Meshiha, to all the saints who are in Jeshu Meshiha at Philipos, with the presbyters and deacons.
2 Ngʼwono kod kwe mar Nyasaye Wuonwa kod Ruoth Yesu Kristo, obed kodu.
Grace be with you and peace from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
3 Adwokone Nyasacha erokamano seche duto ma aparoue.
I offer thanks unto Aloha upon the remembrance of you constantly,
4 Kinde duto ka alemonu, to alemonu gi mor,
in all my prayers on your behalf; and while rejoicing,
5 nikech riwruok maru kodwa e tij lando Injili chakre odiechiengʼ mokwongo nyaka koroni,
I pray, for your fellowship which is in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 omiyo koro an gichir malongʼo ni Jal mane ochako tich maberno e chunyu biro dhi kode nyime nyaka chop orum e odiechieng Kristo Yesu.
because I am confident of this, that he who hath begun good workings in you will himself make perfect until the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
7 En gima kare mondo apar kamano kuomu uduto nikech agenou e chunya; kata ka an e twech kata ka asiro adiera mar Injili kendo ajiwe to un uduto usebedo koda e achiel kuom ngʼwono mar Nyasaye.
For so it is right for me to think concerning you all, because you are laid up in my heart; and in my bonds, and in the defence of the truth of the gospel, you are partakers with me in grace.
8 Nyasaye owuon nyalo timo nenda kaka chunya gombou duto ka an-gi hera matut mar Kristo Yesu.
For Aloha is my witness how I love you with the bowels of Jeshu Meshiha.
9 Kendo ma e lamona mondo herau omedre mathoth ahinya kuom rieko kod ngʼeyo,
And this I pray, that your love may still increase and abound in knowledge and in all spiritual understanding;
10 kendo mondo ubed gi rieko mar yiero mana timo gima ber kende. Kamano ngimau nobed maler kendo maonge bura, nyaka chop odiechieng Kristo.
that you may distinguish those things that are proper, and may be pure and without offence in the day of the Meshiha,
11 Ngimau nopongʼ gi olemo mag timbe makare maa kuom Yesu Kristo mondo Nyasaye oyud duongʼ kod pak.
and filled with the fruits of righteousness which are in Jeshu Meshiha, to the glory and the honour of Aloha.
12 Jowetena, koro adwaro ni ungʼe, ni gik mosetimorena osemiyo Injili omedo landore.
BUT I wish you to know, my brethren, that my business tendeth the more to the forwarding of the gospel.
13 Kuom mano, koro osengʼere malongʼo ne askeche dala ruoth duto, kod ji mamoko duto ni otweya nikech Kristo.
For so also my bonds are manifest for the Meshiha in the whole palace, and unto all besides.
14 Bedona e twech osemiyo jowete mathoth odoko thuondi kuom Ruoth, mi giyalo Wach Nyasaye gi chir maonge luoro.
And a multitude of brethren who are in our Lord are strengthened on account of my bonds, and have dared the more fearlessly to speak the word of Aloha.
15 En adier ni jomoko lando wach Kristo ka gin-gi ich lit kod miero, to jomoko to lande ka chunygi ni kare.
Some preach from envy and contention, but some from good-will,
16 Joma lando Injili gi chuny makarego lendo gihera, ka gingʼeyo ni oketa e twech mondo aked matek ni Injili.
and in the love of the Meshiha; for they know that for the defence of the gospel I am appointed.
17 Joma lando Kristo ka gin-gi ich lit gi miero to timo kamano mondo oyud duongʼ, ka giparo niginyalo medona chandruok ka pod an e od twech.
But those who preach the Meshiha from contention do it not sincerely, but think to add affliction to my bonds.
18 To onge wach! Gima duongʼ en ni wach Kristo ilando e yore duto; kata gi chuny marach, kata maber, kendo mano medo miya mor moloyo. Ee, kendo pod abiro medo bedo mamor,
Yet in this I have rejoiced, and do rejoice, that in every way, if for an occasion, or if in truth, the Meshiha shall be preached.
19 nikech angʼeyo ni kuom lemo mulemonago kod kony ma ayudo kuom Roho mar Yesu Kristo, gik mosetimorenago ema bende biro kelona resruok.
For I know that these things shall be found unto my life by your prayers, and by the gift of the Spirit of Jeshu Meshiha;
20 Dwarona maduongʼ kod genona en ni ok anane wichkuot, to ni abiro bedo gi teko moromo mondo Kristo osik ka yudo duongʼ e ringra kaka pile, bed ni angima kata atho.
even as I hope and expect, that in nothing I shall be confounded, but manifestly, as at all times, so also now, the Meshiha shall be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.
21 Nikech an aneno ni ka angima, to angima nikech Kristo, to ka atho to en ohala.
For my life is the Meshiha; and if I die, it is gain to me.
22 Kane anyalo medo bedo mangima e ringruok, to mano nyiso ni abiro medo tiyo tich makelo ohala. To koro dayier angʼo? Ok angʼeyo gima dayier!
But if in this life of the flesh there be also fruit to me from my works, I know not what to choose.
23 Yiero otama e kind gik mabeyo ariyogi: Chunya gombo ni atho mondo adhi abed gi Kristo, kendo mano en gima ber moloyo,
For these two straiten me. I desire to be set free, that I might be with the Meshiha, and this is greatly preferable to me;
24 to daher moloyo mondo amed bedo mangima e ringruok nikech un.
but also to remain in my body is the thing which constraineth me on your account.
25 Nikech chunya nigi ratiro chutho ni pod onego akonyu, kendo angʼeyo chutho ni pod abiro bet kodu duto mondo ami umed geroru kendo ubed mamor e yie maru,
For I know this confidently, that I am to remain and tarry for your joy and for the increase of your faith:
26 mondo omi bedona kodu kendo omedu mor moloyo kuom Kristo Yesu nikech an.
that when I come again to you, your glorying which is in Jeshu Meshiha alone shall abound in me.
27 To kata obedo ni angʼo motimore, to usik kudak e kit ngimau mapile mowinjore gi Injili mar Kristo. Kata ka abiro nenou, kata ka ok abiro, to adwaro winjo ni uchungʼ motegno gi chuny achiel kendo gi paro achiel mondo ukedni adiera mar Injili,
As it becometh the gospel of the Meshiha, so have your conversation; that if coming I see you, or absent, I may hear of you, that you stand in one spirit and in one soul, conquering together for the faith of the gospel;
28 ma ok obwogu e yo moro amora, gi joma kwedou. Mano biro bedonegi ranyisi ni ibiro tiekgi, to un ibiro resu kendo Nyasaye ema biro timo mano.
in nothing moved by them who stand against us, to the forthshowing of their perdition, and of our salvation,
29 Nikech dhial museyudo kuom Kristo ok en mana mondo uyie kuome kende, to oseluongu bende mondo une masiche nikech en,
And this from Aloha hath been given to you, not only believing to believe in the Meshiha, but also for his sake to suffer,
30 nikech ukedo lweny nogo mane unena kakedo e kinde mokalo, kendo ma pod uwinjo ni akedo.
and to sustain a conflict, as you have seen in me, and now hear concerning me.
