1 Ma e chenro mar wuodh jo-Israel e kinde mane gia Misri kopog-gi e migepe mopogore opogore kendo kotelnegi gi Musa kod Harun.

These, are the departures of the sons of Israel whereby they came forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, —in the hand of Moses and Aaron.

2 Kaluwore gi chik mar Jehova Nyasaye, Musa nondiko nonro maber mar migepe mag wuodhgi. Ma e kaka ne giwuotho e migawo ka migawo:

And Moses wrote their comings forth by their departures, at the bidding of Yahweh, —and these, are their departures by their comings forth.

3 Jo-Israel nochako wuoth koa Rameses e odiechiengʼ mar apar gabich mar dwe mokwongo, ma en odiechiengʼ mokwongo bangʼ Pasaka. Negiwuok ayanga ka jo-Misri nenogi to ne ok gidewo,

So then they brake up from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover, came forth the sons of Israel with an uplifted hand, in the sight of all the Egyptians;

when the Egyptians, were burying them whom Yahweh had smitten among them, every firstborn, —when, upon their gods, Yahweh had executed judgments,

Thus then the sons of Israel brake up from Rameses, —and encamped in Succoth.

6 Negiwuok Sukoth mi gibworo Etham, mantiere e bath thim.

And they brake up from Succoth, —and encamped in Etham, which is at the edge of the desert.

7 Negiwuok Etham, mi gidok chien Pi Hahiroth, man yo wuok chiengʼ mar Baal Zefon, mi gibworo but Migdol.

And they brake up from Etham, and turned upon Pi-hahiroth, which is over against Baal-zephon, —and encamped before Migdol.

8 Negiwuok Pi Hahiroth mi gingʼado nam nyaka e thim, kendo kane gisewuotho kuom ndalo adek e Thim mar Etham, negibuoro Mara.

And they brake up from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea towards the desert, —and went their way a journey of three days in the desert of Etham, and encamped in Marah.

9 Negiwuok Mara mi gidhi Elim, kuma ne nitie sokni apar gariyo kod yiend othidhe piero abiriyo, kendo negibuoro kanyo.

And they brake up from Marah, and came in towards Elim; there being, in Elim, twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there.

10 Negiwuok Elim mi gibworo but Nam Makwar.

And they brake up from Elim, —and encamped by the Red Sea.

11 Negiwuok Nam Makwar mi gibworo e Thim mar Sin.

And they brake up from the Red Sea, —and encamped in the desert of Sin.

12 Negiwuok e Thim mar Sin mi gibworo Dofka.

And they brake up from the desert of Sin, —and encamped in Dophkah.

13 Negiwuok Dofka mi gibworo Alush.

And they brake up from Dophkah, —and encamped in Alush.

14 Negiwuok Alush mi gibworo Refidim, kama ne onge pi ma ji ne nyalo modho.

And they brake up from Alush, —and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

15 Negiwuok Refidim mi gibworo e Thim mar Sinai.

And they brake up from Rephidim, —and encamped in the desert of Sinai.

16 Negiwuok e Thim mar Sinai mi gibworo Kibroth Hatava.

And they brake up from the desert of Sinai, —and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.

17 Negiwuok Kibroth Hatava mi gibworo Hazeroth.

And they brake up from Kibroth-hattaavah, —and encamped in Hazeroth.

18 Negiwuok Hazeroth mi gibworo Rithma.

And they brake up from Hazeroth, —and encamped in Rithmah.

19 Negiwuok Rithma mi gibworo Rimon Perez.

And they brake up from Rithmah, —and encamped in Rimmon-perez.

20 Negiwuok Rimon Perez mi gibworo Libna.

And they brake up from Rimmon-perez, —and encamped in Libnah.

21 Negiwuok Libna mi gibworo Risa.

And they brake up from Libnah, —and encamped in Rissah.

22 Negiwuok Risa mi gibworo Kehelatha.

And they brake up from Rissah, —and encamped in Kehelathah.

23 Negiwuok Kehelatha mi gibworo e Got Shefa.

And they brake up from Kehelathah, —and encamped in Mount Shepher.

24 Negiwuok Got Shefa mi gibworo Harada.

And they brake up from Mount Shepher, —and encamped in Haradah.

25 Negiwuok Harada mi gibworo Makheloth.

And they brake up from Haradah, —and encamped in Makheloth.

26 Negiwuok Makheloth mi gibworo Tahath.

And they brake up from Makheloth, —and encamped in Tahath.

27 Negiwuok Tahath mi gibworo Tera.

And they brake up from Tahath, —and encamped in Terah.

28 Negiwuok Tera mi gibworo Mithka.

And they brake up from Terah, —and encamped in Mithkah.

29 Negiwuok Mithka mi gibworo Hashmona.

And they brake up from Mithkah, —and encamped in Hashmonah.

30 Negiwuok Hashmona mi gibworo Moseroth.

And they brake up from Hashmonah, —and encamped in Moseroth.

31 Negiwuok Moseroth mi gibworo Bene Jaakan.

And they brake up from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan.

32 Negiwuok Bene Jaakan mi gibworo Hor Hagidgad.

And they brake up from Bene-jaakan, and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.

33 Negiwuok Hor Hagidgad mi gibworo Jotbatha.

And they brake up from Hor-haggidgad, —and encamped in Jotbathah, —

34 Negiwuok Jotbatha mi gibworo Abrona.

And they brake up from Jotbathah, —and encamped in Abronah.

35 Negiwuok Abrona mi gibworo Ezion Geber.

And they brake up from Abronah, —and encamped in Eziongeber.

36 Negiwuok Ezion Geber mi gibworo Kadesh, mantiere e Thim mar Zin.

And they brake up from Eziongeber, —and encamped in the desert of Zin, the same, is Kadesh.

37 Negiwuok Kadesh mi gibworo e Got Hor, mantiere e tongʼ mar Edom.

And they brake, up from Kadesh, —and encamped in Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom;

38 Kaluwore gi chik mar Jehova Nyasaye, Harun jadolo nodhi e Got Hor, kama nothoe odiechiengʼ mokwongo mar dwe mar abich, e higa mar piero angʼwen bangʼ wuok jo-Israel e piny Misri.

and Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor, at the bidding of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.

39 Harun ne ja-higni mia achiel gi piero ariyo gadek eka ne otho e Got Hor.

Now, Aaron, was a hundred and twenty-three years old, when he died in Mount Hor.

40 Ruoth Arad ma ja-Kanaan, mane odak Negev mar Kanaan, nowinjo ni jo-Israel biro.

And a Canaanite king of Arad, who was dwelling in the South, in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming in of the sons of Israel.

And, they brake up from Mount Hor, —and encamped in Zalmonah.

And they brake up from Zalmonah, —and encamped in Punon.

44 Negiwuok Oboth mi gibworo Iye Abarim, mantiere e tongʼ piny Moab.

And they brake up from Oboth, —and encamped in Iye-abarim, within the bounds of Moab.

45 Negiwuok Iye Abarim mi gibworo Dibon Gad.

And they brake up from Iyim, —and encamped in Dibon-gad.

46 Negiwuok Dibon Gad mi gibworo Almon Diblathaim.

And they brake up from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

47 Negiwuok Almon Diblathaim mi gibworo e gode mag Abarim, man but Nebo.

And they brake up from Almon-diblathaim, —and encamped among the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

48 Bangʼ kane giwuok e gode mag Abarim negibuoro e pewe mag Moab mokiewo gi Jordan momanyore gi Jeriko.

And they brake up from the mountains of Abarim, —and encamped in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.

49 Negibuoro e pewe mag Moab mokiewo gi Jordan chakre Beth Jeshimoth nyaka Abel Shitim.

Thus did they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth unto Abel-Shittim [that is, "The acacia—meadows"]—in the waste plains of Moab.

50 Jehova Nyasaye nowuoyo gi Musa e pewe mag Moab momanyore gi Jeriko mokiewo gi Jordan kowachone niya,

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho saying:

51 “Wuo gi jo-Israel kendo iwachnegi kama: Ka ungʼado Jordan mi udonjo Kanaan,

Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye do pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

52 to uriemb ji duto modak e pinyno. Kethuru gigegi duto mopa milamo bende uwit kido duto milamo ma giloso, kendo umuki kuondegi magiloso motingʼore gi malo mar lemo.

then shall ye dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and shall destroy all their figured stones, —all their molten images, also shall ye destroy, and all their high places, shall ye lay waste.

53 Kawuru pinyno mi udagie, nimar asemiyougo mondo obed maru.

So shall ye possess the land, and settle down therein, —for unto you, have I given the land to possess it.

54 Poguru pinyno e kugoyo ombulu e kindu, kaluwore gi dhoutu. Dhoot maduongʼ opog lowo maduongʼ, to dhoot matin opog lowo matin. Gimoro amora mopogne dhoutu gombulu nobed margi. Pog-gi kaluwore gi dhout kweregi.

And ye shall take your inheritance in the land by lot by your families—for the large one, ye shall make large his inheritance, and for the small one, make small his inheritance, whithersoever the lot cometh out to him, his, shall, it be, by the tribes of your fathers, shall ye take your inheritance.

55 “‘To ka ok uriembo joma odak e pinyno, to joma uweyo modongʼ biro bedonu ka cha bondo e wangʼu kendo ka kudho machwoyo dendu koni gi koni. Ginimiu chandruok e piny ma ubiro dakieno.

But if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall it be. that they whom ye leave remaining of them will become pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and will harass you, concerning the land, wherein, ye are settling down.

56 Bangʼ mano anatimnu gima ne achano mondo atimnegi.’”

And it shall be, that as I thought to do unto them, I will do unto you.
