Mathayo 18
1 E kindeno jopuonjre nobiro ir Yesu mopenje niya, “En ngʼa maduongʼ moloyo e pinyruodh polo?”
AT that time came the disciples to Jesus, saying, Who is indeed the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 To noluongo nyathi moro matin mi okete ochungʼ e diergi.
And Jesus calling a little boy, set him in the midst of them,
3 Eka nowacho niya, “Awachonu adier ni ka ok ulokoru ma uchalo gi nyithindo matindo, to ok ubi donjo e pinyruodh polo ngangʼ.
and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be changed and be as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Emomiyo ngʼato angʼata mobolore kaka nyathini e ngʼat maduongʼ moloyo e pinyruodh polo.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself, as this little child, he shall be greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 Kendo ngʼato angʼata morwako nyathi machal kama e nyinga to an ema orwaka.
And whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.
6 “To ka ngʼato omiyo achiel kuom jomatindo moyie kuomagi odonjo e richo to dibed maber ka otwene pongʼ marangʼongo e ngʼute bangʼe onyumego e chuny nam.
And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones, who believe in me, to stumble, it were better for him that a millstone was hung at his neck, and that he was sunk in the depth of the sea.
7 “Piny none malit nikech gik mamiyo ji donjo e richo! Ochuno ni gik makamagi nyaka bedie, to okwongʼ ngʼatno makelo gigo!
Wo to the world because of offences! for there is a necessity that offences come: nevertheless, wo to that man by whom the offence cometh!
8 Ka lweti kata tiendi miyo idonjo e richo to ngʼade oko kendo iwite mabor. Ber moloyo kidonjo e ngima ka ionge lweti kata kingʼol moloyo bedo gi lwetegi ariyo kata tiendeni ariyo to owiti e mach manyaka chiengʼ. (aiōnios g166)
If then thy hand, or thy foot, lead thee to offend, cut them off, and cast them from thee: for it were better for thee to enter into life, halting or maimed, than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the fire, which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
9 Kamano bende ka wangʼi miyo itimo richo to lodhe oko kendo iwite mabor. Ber moloyo kidonjo e ngima gi wangʼ achiel kar bedo gi wenge ariyo to owiti e mach mar Gehena. (Geenna g1067)
And if thine eye lead thee to offend, pluck it out and cast it from thee, for it were better for thee to enter into life with one eye only, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire. (Geenna g1067)
10 “Neuru ni ok uchayo achiel kuom jomatindogi. Nimar anyisou ni malaikegi manie polo osiko ka ngʼiyo wangʼ Wuora manie polo. [
See that ye despise not one of these little ones, for I say unto you, That their angels in heaven continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
11 Nikech Wuod Dhano osebiro mondo owar joma olal.]
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
12 “Uparo nade? Ka ngʼato nigi rombe mia achiel, to achiel kuomgi olal, donge ngʼatno diwe piero ochiko gochikogo mi odhi omany achiel molalno?
What think you? If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them stray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine in the mountains, and go and seek that which had strayed?
13 To awachonu adier ni ka oyude to obedo mamor kuom rombo achielno, moloyo kuom piero ochiko gochiko mane ok olal.
And if he happen to find it, verily I say unto you, that he rejoiceth over it more than over the ninety and nine which never went astray.
14 Machalre gi mano, wuonu manie polo ok dwar ni kata achiel kuom jomatindogi olal.
Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven, that one of these little ones perish.
15 “Ka owadu ochwanyi to dhi kendo inyise kethone, mana e kindu kode ji ariyo. Ka ochikoni ite mowinjo to mano iseloso kindi gi owaduno.
Now if thy brother sin against thee, go and reprove him between thyself and him alone; if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 To ka otamore winji to kaw ngʼato achiel kata ji ariyo idhi iwuogo kode, mondo, wach moro mantie e kind ji nyaka ngʼere malongʼo ka nitiere joneno ariyo kata adek.
But if he will not hear thee, take with thee one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be confirmed.
17 Kodagi winjogi, to nyis kanisa wachno; to kodagi winjo nyaka kanisa, to kawe kaka dikaw ngʼat ma japiny kata jasol osuru.
But if he disregard them, inform the church: and if he disregard the church, let him be to thee as a heathen, or a publican.
18 “Awachonu adier ni gimoro amora mutweyo e piny-ka notwe e polo bende, kendo gimoro amora mugonyo e piny-ka nogony e polo bende.
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever things ye shall bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever things ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 “Awachonu bende ni ka ji ariyo kuomu e piny-ka owinjore kuom gimoro amora mukwayo to Wuora manie polo notimnugo.
Again I say unto you, That if two of you are concurring upon earth, respecting any matter, which ye shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
20 Nimar kama ji ariyo kata adek ochokoree e nyinga to an kodgi kanyo.”
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
21 Eka Petro nobiro ir Yesu mopenje niya, “Ruoth, owinjore awe ne owadwa ndalo adi kokethona? Nyaka ndalo abiriyo koso?”
Then Peter coming to him, said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Yesu nodwoke niya, “Awachoni ni ok nyadibiriyo to nyadi piero abiriyo nyadibiriyo.
Jesus saith to him, I tell thee not until seven times, but unto seventy times seven.
23 “Mano emomiyo pinyruodh polo chal gi ruoth mane dwaro nono kaka jotichne osetiyo gi pesane.
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven like unto a certain king who purposed to settle his account with his servants.
24 Kane ochako timo nonrono, ngʼat moro mane nigi gope moromo silingʼ tara gi tara ne okel e nyime.
And when he began to make up the account, there was brought to him one debtor, ten thousand talents in arrear:

but not having wherewithal to pay, his lord ordered him to be sold, and his wife and his children, and all things whatsoever he possessed, and payment to be made.

Then that servant falling prostrate, paid him the most profound homage, saying, Lord, have forbearance with me, and I will pay thee all.

Then his lord, moved with compassion towards that servant, discharged him, and forgave him the debt.
28 “To bangʼ ka jatijno nosedhi, noyudo achiel kuom jotich wetene mane nigi gope moromo dinari mia achiel. Nomake matek mochako deye, kowachone ni, ‘Chula gopa ma in-go sani!’
But that servant going out, found one of his fellow-servants, who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing, throttled him, saying, Pay me what thou owest.
29 “Jatich wadgino nogoyo chonge piny e nyime moywagorene ni, ‘Yie itimna ngʼwono, abiro chuli gopi.’
Then his fellow-servant fell at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have forbearance with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 “To nodagi. Kar timo kamano to noa kanyo mi oloso wach mondo orwak ngʼatno e od twech nyaka chop ochul gowino.
And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay what he owed.

Then his fellow-servants, when they saw what was done, were exceedingly sorry, and came to their lord, and gave him an explicit account of all things that had passed.
32 “Eka ruodhno noluongo jatichneno ire, mowachone ni, ‘An ne aweni gopa mane in-go duto nikech ne iywagorina mondo atim kamano.
Then his lord, calling him before him, said to him, Thou vile slave! all that debt I forgave thee, because thou besoughtest me:
33 Angʼo momiyo in to ne itamori kecho jatich wadu kaka an bende ne akonyi?’
and oughtest thou not to have had compassion on thy fellow-servant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 Ruodhe ne mirima omako kode mi nochiwe e lwet jo-jela mondo orodhe maonge kech, nyaka chop ochul gowi duto mane en-go.
And his lord, incensed, delivered him up to the torturers, till he should pay all that he owed him.
35 “Kamano e kaka Wuora manie polo biro timo ne ngʼato ka ngʼato ka ok oweyo ne nyawadgi gie chunye.”
Even so also will my heavenly Father do to you, except ye forgive every one of you his brother, from your hearts, their trespasses.
